So...ACME Training had a Halloween event. We decided to go and check it out. It ended up being a lot of fun.
When we first got there people were doing a scavenger hunt (we were too late for that and had to sit that one out). But seemed like people were having fun.
We had to wait our turn to have our photo taken for the costume contest. They were nice and just took a photo so we didn't have to wear our silly costumes in the entire time we played games. Here is my 2010 costume. ARGHHH!
and Starr's...poor Starr we can't find a good costume to fit her because she is so big (89 pounds)
After that the humans got to eat some food and we checked out the surroundings. I kept wanting to go see the chickens
Those sure would be tasty, huh Starr?
After that we started playing games. The first game was the 11 legged monster. Mom and dad didn't do that one because they know being tied together and trying to walk Starr and I someone would fall and be embarrassed (try mom).
So the next game they played was musical dogs. We had to do a sit or a down in the hoop just like musical chairs. I made it all the way to the Top 4 and then my pal Scarlet beat me out of my hoop.
Then it was time for monster buffet. They made us lay down and had a plate of food across from us. We were not allowed to eat it and whoever left their food (even after they would put it right in front of our noses) wins. I was one of the winners of this game. It sure did smell good, but dad kept telling me to "leave it" and I know I'm not allowed to touch when he tells me that.
My pal Granger (the Corgi) was right by my side and one of the winners to
After that we moved over and played Tic Tac Toe...these humans think they are funny making us be the pieces. We had to either be on team sit or team down.
Here I am again with my pal Granger (he was on the opposite team though)
Look at me...I'm the middle square
After all the games they had people vote on the costumes. Check out the winning "team" costume.
My pal Granger and his mom got 2nd place for team.
Then they did best overall costume...guess who won
ME!
I got some new toys and a leash and collar. Yipee!
Mom says we have another busy Halloween weekend coming up.

You look great as a pirate girl. The games looked like lots of fun, but we think the monster buffet must have been torture to look at all that food and not even have a little lick until you were told you could.
