Fun in the snow

Dad gets to work from home one day a week and he decided not to take lunch and instead take us all out to play in the fresh snow. (Well, Starr didn't want to join us she thinks she will melt in the snow, BOL).

Mouse

Oh my goodness....did I make Grandma mad. I am usually the perfect one of the group and always do as I'm told but every now and then it is fun to be BAD! Grandma let us out and called us all back in. Well everyone went back in but me. I was having so much fun rolling around in the snow and playing with this "thing". Grandma thought it was a ball or something. Well, she finally got me back in the house. Later dadster let us out and I was rolling all over and carrying around what dad though was frozen poop. Oh...nope this was much better! Dad then saw a tail and was like Sagira DROP IT! No way Jose! This was too much fun. My first ever mouse, I am not giving it up dadster. Dadster had to put on his shoes and come out to take the mouse from me and throw it away. Momster said no kisses for her for awhile. BOL....boy was that fun.

Bottoms Up!

This is our last item in review for Propel Communications. We would first like to thank them for allowing us to choose these five items to review for them. We had a lot of fun trying out the new items and receiving all these items in the mail.

This is a review of the Bottoms Up harness that is made by one of our favorite companies Quaker Pet Group. This is from their Silver Tails line which is a line of products designed with seniors in mind. As you know my sister, Starr, is a senior she is a 13 year old Weimaraner and has been having some problems with her back legs and hips. We decided to try this one out for her.

 photo EJWB_1771_zps81cd06d1.jpg

 photo EJWB_1772_zpsaf3fd5cd.jpg

This is a harness that can always stay on. The way it fits on her she will not pee or poop on it and it isn't thick and bulky she can still lay down with it on. This really helps with the pain in the back end area and does a great job. We first saw this video of the Bottoms Up harness

It does a really great job showing you exactly how it works.

In review, we really like this product and it is another great product from the Quaker Pet Group. As we said in the prior posts we love Quaker Pet Group they make great toys and products for dogs of all sizes and ages. We will be posting more about this as we use it more with Starr.

In exchange for this review we did receive the Bottoms Up harness to keep.

Go Dog!

Our fourth review is for Quaker Pet Group again. This time it was for Go Dog Dinos line.

 photo EJWB_1773_zps2ddc1925.jpg

Of course since this is MY blog, I told Bokeh I get to test it out first!

 photo EJWB_1787_zpsf0d94ed7.jpg

Yep, the squeaker in it works and it is nice and soft and fun to carry around and squeak. This one isn't like the Hear Doggy one mom and dad can hear this one squeaking and they think it is so funny to listen to me squeak away. I just love squeaky toys of any kind. This one even matches my collar

 photo EJWB_1791_zps5bcfe2cd.jpg

I was being stingy at first and sat on it so Bokeh couldn't steal it away

 photo EJWB_1802_zps0d64a9e8.jpg

They even make nice pillows after you get done squeaking them

 photo EJWB_1804_zps697f7b6a.jpg

Okay, Bokeh, you can have a turn now

 photo EJWB_1792_zps434c8f01.jpg

Bokeh here, I like this toy to. It says it is tough and has chew guard protection on it. I am going to work real hard to get to the stuffing inside but right now I couldn't break it.

Here is a video of us playing with our new Dinosaur

In review, we really like our new toy. We love Quaker Pet Group as we said before. They are SUPER rescue friendly and provide great customer service and long lasting toys. We have purchased Go Dog toys in the past and will in the future. We love supporting companies as great as this one.

In exchange for this blog post and review we did receive the above picture toy to keep.

Hear Doggy

Up next in our week of reviews is the Hear Doggy toy made by Quaker Pet Group.

 photo EJWB_1768_zps53ed8255.jpg

This is MY favorite item that we have reviewed so far. You know how I just LOVE squeaky toys, right? Well this is an ultrasonic squeaky toy. Mom and dad can't hear the squeaking but I sure can!

 photo EJWB_1769_zps33aa57f2.jpg

Mom and dad didn't really think it would work at first but they "tested" me a few times. When they first got it I was all about it, but they thought that was just because I was there when they opened the box. Next time I was in the kitchen waiting for dad to drop a piece of food and mom started squeaking it in the living room and boy I came running! On Thanksgiving morning (since the house was clean, BOL) mom decided to do a video to prove how well this works. Dad took me in the bedroom and we were horsing around and stuff and mom was going to squeak it and see if I would come running. Well....watch what happens.

In review, I LOVE this new toy. I can squeak, squeak, squeak day and night now. WHOO HOO! I have asked for another one for Christmas, mom said Santa will bring me one if I'm a good girl. We also have nothing but great things to say about the Quaker Pet Group. They are the ones that donated a CASE of toys to our rescue, Louisville Weimaraner Rescue. They are always doing such nice things for rescue groups and are very supportive of rescues.

 photo EJWB_1770_zpsaf178096.jpg

In exchange for this review we did receive this toy to test and keep.

New Brush

As we told you yesterday we were asked to do a review of FIVE products of our choice. Our second product for review is this new brush made by Oster.

 photo EJWB_1686_zpsbf980e67.jpg

First up to get brushed out was Bokeh. Bokeh and Tempest usually run from the brushes but this time they actually stood there and allowed mom and dad to brush them out. Momster was laughing and saying this brush is so nice she might want to try it for herself (silly mom this is for dogs, not humans).

The brush is nice and wide so it clears a big path in a short amount of time. It also says that it detangles and it really does work. You start with the back and work your way front and it doesn't take much time at all.

 photo EJWB_1688_zpsaa58f06e.jpg

The thing that Tempest, Bokeh and I like most about the brush is that is doesn't have those super hard wire feeling needles on them. This is nice and soft and doesn't scratch our skin like some of those brushes do.

 photo EJWB_1689_zps3ed79fd1.jpg

In review we really like this brush. We like that it is a wide brush, doesn't have metal or sharp pieces on them that will scratch us all up. We also like the price, you can get them for under $10. We keep ours in our travel bag so momster can brush us at our events in the down time.

In exchange for this blog post we did receive this item for free to try and keep.

Do a review? Of course!

We were contacted by Propel Communications. They asked if we would like to do a review of FIVE products. We got to sniff over a list of cool products and make our decision of what products to try out. We received the packages one by one. One of the first things to arrive was a new bowl that Tempest selected from the list. She whined and complained that she wanted a pretty girlie bowl. The bowl is made by Loving Pets Products. You can click on that link for their website. :)

The new bowl is part of the Bella Bowls Designer and Expressions series. Tempest chose the Argyle Pink one. Mom told her she needed the medium size since she is a medium sized dog (27 pounds).

 photo EJWB_1685_zps18121ab0.jpg

You can see all the different colors and designs by clicking here. The bowls are stainless steel and come with a rubber gripper on the bottom to prevent from scooting all over the floor (which Tempest does ALL the time, she likes to try to hide and bury her food).

 photo EJWB_1684_zpsee50f13b.jpg

So in review we like the fact that the bowls are stainless steel and dishwasher safe (just have to remove the rubber piece) and that they don't harbor germs and icky bacteria that much. We like that they come in different sizes and colors for boys and girls. The only thing that we can think of that would make them 100% perfect is if they were manufactured right here in the USA. We really like the new bowl though and plan to purchase three more so we all have one and not just Tempest.

 photo EJWB_1680_zps1607b61f.jpg

In exchange for this blog post we did receive a cool bowl to try out and keep. :)

Wag Pac

We were invited to join in doing a review of the new Wag Pac. This is a new subscription based program that isn't open to subscriptions just yet (but very close, we will let you know when you can start subscribing). We are going to receive a three month subscription in exchange for this review. We love getting mail and getting new treats and toys to try so this is a win-win!

One HUGE thing that we love about this new program is that a portion of your subscription will be donated to a charity that YOU get to choose. There are over 3,000 charities to chose from. Of course since we volunteer for Louiville Weimaraner Rescue that is who we chose to have ours go to.

The box arrived very quickly. It was secured nicely and when you opened it, it was wrapped very pretty. It also had a big note on the inside saying that part of the sales were donated to Louisville Weimaraner Rescue. YIPPEE!

Here is a video of us opening the box, it was so much fun.

There were several very cool things in the box. It came with a leash that has a poop bag holder on it (hey Frankie, I said POOP, haha), some nice treats to try out (which were YUMMY) and a squeaky toy (I am keeping that one and not sharing with Tempest this time) and a blinking light for my collar when I'm out at night.

 photo EJWB_1817_zps7a5b192a.jpg

The prices are expected to be around $29 for a one month subscription, $24 a month if you join for 3 months and $19 a month if you join for six months. A whole lot of fun and they donate part to a charity.

We really enjoyed receiving this mystery box and liked the products that were inside. We feel it is a good value for the items that you receive.

Tempest Tuesday

Tempie here! Sagira said I could have the blog today to tell you about about my first birthday pawty. OMD it was SO much fun!

It started out on Sunday, I got to go with dad to a private disc dog lesson with Matt. After my lesson dad made a stop at Three Dog Bakery and said we were going to pick up my birthday cake!

I had to check out all their goodies in the display case (everything is just for dogs, dadster couldn't have any, BOL)

 photo E1110131512b_zpsbe88f6bc.jpg

Hey dad, how about adding one of these to the order?

 photo E1110131512a_zps581c88d7.jpg

The lady baking all the goodies came out to give me a sample. She was really nice.

 photo E1110131511_zps1ca8e98b.jpg

Check out all the cool things they have for us to eat!

 photo E1110131516_zps30c5eac9.jpg

I even got a free Pupcake just for being so cute.

 photo E1110131517a_zps7f58f865.jpg

Isn't my cake beautiful? It was made of peanut butter and some other stuff. I just couldn't wait a whole day to take it to day care to share with all my furiends.

 photo ETempestDR11_zps89a6bae7.jpg

Check back tomorrow so I can tell you about all the fun I had at my pawty.
