Dog Park

We had a fun day today. We started out by going to the bank so mom could deposit some money for the rescue. On the way there were some geese nearby. They actually walked right up to the car. Starr and I were watching very closely. I wanted to jump out and get them, but mom told me no. Starr was standing very still only moving her eyes back and forth, mom was laughing at her.

After the bank we went to Mars Petcare factory. They had an adoption event. It was really nice. They were giving our free hotdogs, chips, drinks. They had about 15 rescue groups there. Activities for kids and pools for us to swim in. Plus we got TONS of free goodies. Yummy bones, treats and canned foods, mom could barely carry the bags home. One of the rescue groups there had a leash and collar combo for a DOLLAR! Can you believe that? Mom bought some for her rescue to use. They were not the cheap kind either, they were nice and heavy ones that will be good for the Weims in need.

Then we traveled on to Prairie Oaks Metro Park's dog beach. I got to swim and meet some new friends. There was a big rock by the lake that I decided to get on top of (without anyone asking me to) and I sat there and let dad take my photo and then I decided to be like a lizard and sunbath on the rock. Mom said I looked like a super model. I can't wait to show you the pics once dad is done "doing his magic" on them.

So...I am still very behind on my photos. Here are photos from July 4th when we met up with my brother Harley and pals Ripley, Granger and Zoey at the dog park.
