A little too much fun

Tempest and I had a little too much fun playing with the ball we got to review. Momster threw it in the back yard and both Tempie and I went for the ball. Needless to say we ran into each other pretty hard. Tempest is fine but I am limping. Momster had to take me to the vet. They don't feel anything is broken but think I sprained my wrist area. On some pain meds and lots of snoozing in order for this week. Was supposed to have an agility trial Saturday but can't go if I am still limping. BUMMER!

Chewy Time

Today is momster birthday. She is getting old...BOL

It is time for our monthly Chewy.Com review. This month we (mainly Tempest) decided to review Planet Dog ball.

You see my sister LOVES to play with balls. She is obsessed over them so when momster saw one of the options for review was a ball she had to get it for Tempest. As always the package arrived very quickly.

In review, we really like the Planet Dog ball. It is light weight, it glows in the dark so if we play in the winter we can find it again. It seems pretty durable as well and not many teeth marks in it when we were done playing with it. We would purchase again. Now just need a ball launcher for it, BOL.

Trial on Friday

So mom and dad took a vacation day on Friday and we packed up and went to Dayton, Ohio for an agility trial. Boy are we happy we went. I got FIRST place in the 20" division OMD....FIRST place. I was smoking hot and on fire!

Here is my jumpers run. I got third place in this run. So not only did I get QQ # 15 and can officially say I am 3/4 of the way to my MACH (Championship title) but I got TWO placements. WHOO HOO!

So my MACH count is now 15 QQ (need 20) and I have 406 points (need 750). Getting close!!!!

Minnesota Trip Photos

This was mom's favorite photo because anyone that has met Tempest knows just how sweet she is. She LOVES everyone and hasn't met a stranger yet.

Mom and dad bought us a new toy, it is made of rabbit fur and you can put treats inside and it is a tug toy.

The secrets of a trial

This is what we do in the down time at the agility trials, BOL. Life is so hard being an agility dog.

Trial last weekend

Last Sunday we packed up and headed back to Sharonville, Ohio for another agility trial. Mom really likes it at this place it is so nice and clean and worth the hour and half drive to get there.

My first run of the day was my jumpers run and I was on FIRE! Watch me go! I got a Q and 12 more MACH points.

My next run was my standard run. I didn't get a Q because I was going a little too fast and missed my first weave pole. But mom and dad still tell me I did a GREAT job and we had a lot of fun. I also got to pick up a new toy for going to the trial. That is my favorite part.

Tooth Update

So I am back from my surgery. Dadster dropped me off and luckily one of our friends works there so she kept a very close eye on me all day and kept texting momster updates throughout the day. So after Dr. Tom did my x-ray he found that the fracture was not that bad and my nerve was not exposed so they didn't have to end up pulling it. They actually just repaired it and mom and dad promise they would start brushing my toothies every day. Oh boy...I'm not sure I am going to like that. When mom picked me up I was whinning and the lady told her that is normal for 24 hours until the medications work their way out of my system. When I got home nurse Tempest took charge and made sure I was okay. She is such a sweet sister.

Wordless Wednesday

Having surgery

So as you read this I will be on my way to have surgery completed. I have a "slab" tooth fracture. We went Saturday to see a new VET that was very highly recommended to us for working on dog's teeth.

People call him Dr. Tom and he was super nice. Tempest went with me to make sure I was okay

We thought it was cool that Dr. Tom has half doors! You get to see what goes on in the back.

Wish me luck! Dr. Tom will not know if he can repair the tooth until he puts me under and gets some x-rays. Either way, I will feel better tomorrow.
