Here is my standard run from the trial in November. I did get a Q in this run. YIPPE

and my JWW run which I didn't get a Q and I was sure to tell dad how unhappy I was with his handling, BOL

Agility trial from November

Trying to catch up with all the things we have missed posting. I had an agility trial back in November. Here is my standard run from Saturday. I didn't get a Q on this run because I missed touching the yellow part on the dog walk. I was running and wanted to catch up to dad.

Shopping

Mom and dad took another shopping trip to Jeffersonville Outlet Malls. They love that place because they are dog friendly and we can go shopping for clothes and stuff with our humans. How fun is that?

Dad's niece Kirsten is a cheerleader and once she saw Tempest could do a handstand she wanted to get a pic with Tempie doing one together. Only problem was that Tempest kept sliding on the white board so dadster had to help her. BOL

Miss us?

Sorry that we have been MIA for so long. Momster has been super busy and trying to get her to help us with our blog is hard work lately. A few weeks ago we went and had our family photos taken in the studio.

Mom loves photos on the white back ground so that is what most of our photos are. Mom also had to put us in size order. What we have to do to entertain her. BOL

Traveling on Thursday

We love that mom is on this new get healthier kick. She takes us on LOTS of walks now and we love it. She found this new ap for her phone as well called ResQWalk. You start it up when your walk starts and then finish when you're done and you earn money for rescues and of course mom selected the rescue she volunteers with to get her money, Louisville Weimaraner Rescue. If any of you go on walks look into the ap and if you need a rescue to support LWR would be very appreciative.

Mom got smart and bought us a coupler that way she only has to use one leash. :)

Dr. Carlson

Dr. Carlson is still one of my favorite people. I don't get stressed out at all going to his office like I do most VET offices. I actually fall asleep when I get my acupuncture treatment.

Off to the "barn"

So to switch things up from time to time the humans take us to something called "Barn Hunt". Momster couldn't go this day but dadster took Tempest to our training club for Barn Hunt practice. Now the last time Tempest went she was scared of the rats and ran from them, BOL. Can you believe my sister?

Well, this time I would say she did much better. Here she is being introduced to the rat in a clear tube so she can smell it and see it but not harm it.

After she played around with learning about the rat she got to go on a pretend course. Now if this was a competition Tempest would have 2 minutes to find two rates, climb on the straw and go through the tunnel. If she could do all that she would qualify for a leg towards her barn hunting title. In this one she found both rats plus the teacher had to tell dad some instructions and all of that was in just one minute thirty seconds. GO TEMPIE!

Chewy Time!

Hope all our blog family had a great Thanksgiving. We sure did.

I get to go first since I was the oldest upstairs. Starr missed out on trying the treats because she was busy snoopervising mom and her rescue assignments downstairs while dad was giving us our taste test.

Tempest was last because she is the baby of the group. She waits patiently for her turn.

Yep, we all agree (that doesn't happen very often) that these treats are YUMMY! The treats were really good tasting and we all enjoyed them. We did find the name of them a little misleading though we expected them to be a "soft" chewy type treat but they were crunchy. The rest got put in our cookie jar for when we are good and we will get to enjoy them in the next several days.

I always sleep at the top of the bed. See, when I was a baby and small I could fit on dad's pillow. Well as I grew I never stopped sleeping there, BOL

Mom brought Starr's bed from home. She is wearing a diaper because sometimes when she gets nervous or anxious she leaks a little bit. But she did great this weekend.

Tempest was watching TV with momster. Can anyone name that movie on TV?

Starr is 14 and 1/2 as of today! She is doing better than she was and momster has been walking her to help build up the muscles in her back legs. She still feels good enough to take a snooze on the bed.

Sunday at the Trial

Sunday we drove all the way back to Sharonville, Ohio again for day 2 of the trial. My first run was JWW and I got another Q and 5 more MACH points.

My second run of the day was my standard run and I got another Q and 11 more MACH points. SOOOOOOO...... that means I am not DONE with all of my QQ requirements for my MACH (championship). Now I only need another 149 points and I will be an agility champion. Mom says I am aleady a champion but once I get those points I will forever be noted in AKC history as one as well. SO exciting!

Saturday at the trial

We packed up and went to Sharonville, Ohio this past weekend for another agility trial. My first run of the day was my Jumpers With Weaves (JWW). I bumped into dad at the end but still managed to get my first Q for the day. I also got another 6 MACH points.

After I got to rest up for a little bit it was time for my Standard run. I got another Q and 11 more MACH points. That makes for QQ #19. Those keeping track you need 20 QQ and 750 points to get your championship.

Perfect weekend

OMG I had a PERFECT agility weekend. I can't wait to tell you all about it. For now, here is a picture of me and dadster with TWO QQ ribbons....do you know what that means????

Apple a day

They say an apple a day will keep the DoGter away....BOL. Here I am begging (aka smashing daddy) trying to get a bite or two from his apple. He always shares with us when he is done. I wanted him to know I was first in line.

Getting a spa bath

Momster just realized how much she has been slacking on helping me with my blog and is back logged now. BOL

So last month we took a trip to Georgia because Tempest qualified to compete against the best disc dogs from around the WORLD. In order for us to go they made Bokeh and Tempest get a fancy smancy bath. Luckily our friend owns a mobile grooming van and she hooked us up.

Tempest 2nd Birthday

Two years ago my little sister was born into this world. Momster was joking and said Jeremy wants that little red one in the litter. Little did we all know that a few months down the road that little crazy red head would be part of our family and hearts forever. Happy Birthday to the sweetest border collie around!

Here is my run from Sunday at the trial. Dadster really messed me up and made me look silly and go over the dog walk TWO times. You can hear people laughing at me. Good thing I love him or I would have to fire him for this, BOL

Oh....and today is my 7th Barkday. :)

Okay, so I showed you Tempie's run so now it is my turn. Here is my standard run from Saturday. I was smoking hot and got another Q and 18 more MACH points.

Tempie day 2 at the trial

We went back to the trial on Sunday and did the same thing. Tempest had one run and I had one run. Here is Tempie's JWW run. Same thing happened dadster talked to her and made her mess up but she is doing so much better. Look at how fast she does her weave poles!

Having fun

Wowser, we have been MIA but have been having lots of fun. This past weekend we went back to Springfield and had another agility trial. Tempest did one run each day and I did one run.

Tempie went first on Saturday. She did the jumpers with weaves run and oh boy is she fast. She likes to make dad RUN, BOL

She didn't get a Q because dadster talked to her when going over one of the jumps and it made her drop the bar. Oops!

Sunday

Here is my agility run from Sunday. I earned TWENTY MACH points. Yes I said 20!!!! That is the most I have ever earned in just one run. So that brings me up to 18 QQ's (need 20) and 550 points (need 750) for my championship. Chipping away at it!

This weekend

We had a lot of fun on Saturday. We had an agility trial in Zanesville. Our friends Frankie and Ernie came to cheer us on. They brought their mom and dad and also Sarge's mom and dad. It was a big blogville pawty. Frankie and Ernie's mom took all the photos so be sure to check out their blog for all of those.

They got to see Tempie do her run and then they had to leave to go shopping at some huge flea market thing (I guess they don't really sell fleas there, BOL).

Georgia on my mind

So last weekend we all (mom, dad and all four of us pups) packed up in the car to head all the way from Ohio to Georgia. As some of you may remember Tempest qualified to compete against the best of the best disc doggers from all around the world!

Here is Tempie doing her freestyle routine on Sunday:

and here is her doing her Toss and Fetch. She did PAWSOME and caught 5 of 7 earning 20 out of a possible 22.5 points.

Tempest ended up placing 53rd out of over 70 of the best of the best teams. We were hoping for top 50 but still VERY proud of my sister. She did pawsome considering how nervous dad was and she isn't even two yet.

Walking Weimaraner Wednesday

Momster is still trying to take Starr on a walk every day. This day she invited Bokeh to join her. Bokeh and Starr are not the best of friends but did really well on their walk together.

Another 3 day trial

Can you tell I'm getting close to my MACH? Hearing more and more about us going to agility trials. BOL

So this time we went to Springfield. It was outside but it was nice and cool so it wasn't that bad. This is my standard run. I did really good and got a Q and 11 more MACH points.

Tempest has a new name!

So here are Tempie's runs from last Sundays trial. Here is her Jumpers run. Since Tempie is only in novice division she is allowed to make a few mistakes and still qualify which she did. This was her third Q in JWW so she now has a new title, her NJ title. So meet Pawprint Calm Before the Storm, NJ (aka Tempest). BOL

and this is her standard run. She didn't Q in this one because she knocked down a bar, if they do that they don't Q no matter what. Bummer because the rest of the run was really nice.

Sunday at the trial

Here are my runs from last Sunday at the trial. No Q's for me but I had fun. It is funny because in my standard run I refused to get on the table when dad first asked me to. If you listen close you can tell I shocked momster because on the video you hear her say "Sagira" like shame on me, BOL. Gotta keep the humans wondering, don't we? BOL

This is my jumpers run. Dadster didn't step far enough in to set me up correctly for the jump and if you listen to the video boy do you hear me let him have it. It was funny because the judge even said you tell him, BOL!

Tempest at the trial Saturday

Here is Tempie's Jumpers run. She didn't get a Q because she knocked down the 2nd to last bar BUT she did her weave poles. Mom and dad were very happy with her run!

Here is her standard run. She didn't get a Q because dad messed her up and make her jump over a jump she shouldn't have but that was HIS fault not Tempie's. She did her weave poles again! WHOO HOO!

Saturday at the Trial

Here is my standard run from Saturday at the trial. I gave mom a heart attack because I stopped in the weave poles after I heard something but luckily I kept going and still got a Q and 11 more MACH points.

Here is my jumpers run. I went over the wrong jump at the end so no Q in this one. But I had fun and ran really nice.

Tempest at the Trial

Yesterday I told you about our agility trial this past weekend. Well, Tempest got to run all three days as well. Here are her runs from Friday. She didn't get any Q's but boy she had fun. Tempie's breeder actually came out to watch her run on Friday. Tempest was SO excited to see her. Oh...and did we tell you that Tempie's aunt is now pregnant with Tempie's daddies puppies??? Mom said something about they are on the "list"...whatever that means. BOL

Tempest had FUN in her Jumpers run. She was skipping jumps and running around like a mad woman. BOL

She redeemed herself in her standard run. She didn't Q because she didn't do her weaves correctly but the rest of the run was BEAUTIFUL. Even the judge came up to dad after and told him how nice Tempest did.

Trial this weekend and QQ # 18

Our training club hosted an agility trial here in Columbus this past weekend. We were there Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Friday was a great day for me and I got QQ # 18 towards my MACH title. Only TWO more QQ to go and then we work on our points. ALMOST THERE! Getting SOOOOOO excited about it.

Dublin Pet Fair

Last weekend we went to the Dublin Pet Fair. They invited our disc dog club out to put on a few shows for the crowd.

It was a wonderful day even though it was supposed to rain, it held off. They had a table for a dear friend of ours who passed away from cancer. Nico was a one of a kind and all about the dogs and doing anything he could to help out in the community. They had a tribute table for Nico and momster got all teary eyed. She misses Nico's warm smile and hugs each time he would see her and us out at events. We think Nico kept the rain away that day and brought out the beautiful sunshine for his friends. We miss you Nico!

They had lots of fun games. Bokeh joined in the fastest peanut butter eating contest. Mom tried to point him out in the photo.

After that they did the best kisser contest. Guess who won that one!!! TEMPEST! BOL. She won a gift certificate for a free pizza. YUM!

It was an extra special day because some friends from KOREA were in town to compete and they stopped by Ohio on their way to Tennessee to hang out with us and perform at the event as well. After the event was over mom took us pups home and then they all went out to dinner with their friends from Korea.

You will never believe who joined in the fun! MOM DID! Her first time playing with Bokeh in public I think. She did great and now everyone tells her she has to compete with Bokeh, BOL.
