So much fun

We went to my training club's agility Christmas run through and pot luck. It was so much fun. I will be posting photos and telling you more about that later.

My little brother, Bokeh, is taking his Therapy Dog exam today. I have been trying to help him study and be a good boy. Cross your paws that he passes. Mom is pretty nervous.

On a side note....mom and dad had our roof replaced 2 years ago after a bad wind storm ripped a huge hole in it. Well....now we have a leak in our living room ceiling. The new roof guy went up and broke the following news to us "the other roofer used old materials" and "didn't know what he was doing, there is no pattern to the way he put down the shingles" and "he didn't even vent the roof, you always have to have a vent on your roof". So now mom and dad have to come up with LOTS of green papers to pay for these repairs. Mom just wants to cry, she doesn't understand how someone could really screw you over that way. She tries to be nice and do good things and gets this in return. Poor momster...but hopefully the new roof guy can get it all taken care of for us.

    Paws crossed for Bokeh on his exam, but we are sure he will do GREAT.

    Growling and hissing at the bad roofer. We had to have a new deck on our roof because when we bought the house whoever put the deck on did an awful job. After Katrina we were going to get a metal roof but couldn't cause we had to have a new deck instead, so had to use the cheaper shingles. And we don't have a clue why they call the bottom part of the roof a deck.

    Hey Bokah, good luck buddy. Most people think that the test is a whiz but I know it is tough, but I also know that you can do it. Then you can go out with your friends and bring much needed comfort. I am rootin for you.

    So sorry about the roof. That is the worst.....I hope the old roofer helps pay for the new one. he should have too.

    Wow, good luck Bokeh! I know you'll do great! I can't wait to see the pix from your fun event. Wouldn't you just like to growl and bite that other roofer peep! I don't know how that could happen to your sweet Mom, but somehow that rotten guy will get his. Anyway, let us know how Bokeh makes out! Go buddy!

    That stinks about the roof. We think that people who do shoddy work and have no sense of responsibility are the absolute pits. Us kitties would love to shred'em for you!

    I would wish Bokeh luck with his Therapy Dog test but I just know he won't need it because he'll pass it with flying colors!

    I'm so sorry about the roof. How awful for your mama. I've spent a fortune on my car in the past month and still need to get more work done on it so I feel your mama's pain. It sounds like she found a much better roofer this time around, at least!

    That really stinks about your roof. Did you get any sort of guarantee with the roof job? That is one repair that always seems to cause problems. We hope you can get it resolved without too much expense.
