The rescue ended up making a little over $13,000 to care for all the sick and injured Weims for the year. Thank you SO much to all of you who either donated green papers or actual items for the auctions.
So we came home with a Go Pro Hero Silver edition video camera (this is what the skydivers and stuff where on their heads), a new Brilliant K9 harness (for Sagira) that had a new leather leash attached to it, a new dog bed for Starr and some toys and odds and ends in another basket for Bokeh and Tempest.
We had a great time and can't wait to start collecting donations for Weim and Cheese 2014.
Kimber Cleveland (a recording artist) also performed at our event and left this video blog after the event, check it out!
Oh man, you guys are going to love playing with the GoPro. I love attaching it to my dogs and letting them take pictures of our outings. I even use the GoPro to get pictures during roller derby practices too, but putting it on the chest mount on myself.
ReplyDeleteOh awesome! We are glad it was such a success!
