Trial

Had a trial in Zanesville this past weekend. Was hoping to see my friends Frankie and Ernie but a snow storm decided to come in the middle of the night right before the trial and it snowed them in. It took us almost 2 hours to get to the trial (normally would only take us an hour). Roads were REALLY bad. But....I made up for it and ROCKED at the trial. I got a QQ. That makes #3 for me. (You need 20 QQ and 750 points to earn your MACH so I still have a ways to go).

Here is my standard run. I rocked this one and came in 10 seconds under time earning 10 more MACH points. YAHH HOOO! Not many dogs Q'd on this course, we watched team after team take the tunnel instead of the table. Dad did a different cross and stayed on the other side so I hopefully wouldn't look at the tunnel and it worked.

Then came time for my Jumpers couse and I rocked that to. Only had 21 dogs in my class even Q on this course. We watched team after team take the wrong end of the tunnel. A lot of teams had problems with obstacles 1-4. But I did them like a pro.

Science Diet Treats

My friends Dave and Zim did a review on some Science Diet treats they received. They said how good they were and then they were nice enough to pass along our information to their friend over at Science Diet and had them send us a package of treats to try as well. We received the bag of treats.

After we posed nicely with the bag of treats dad opened them up for us. Come on dad, hurry, hurry, we are starving!

Thundershirt

Mom finally gave in and purchased me a Thundershirt. My anxiety in the car is getting worse. Anytime a loud motorcycle or semi truck roll up next to us I try to hide. Mom wants to see if this will made me feel more secure and help me out. She had them special order me one in pink instead of the boring gray they normally come in. I think I look pretty cute if I must say so myself...what do you think?

We didn't get to send out cards this year and for that we are very sorry. But we did take a family photo and wanted to wish all of our blog friends a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

We get to go to the training club tonight. It is the annual agility potluck and gift exchange. Always so much fun.

Weimaraner Wednesday

Starr was a supermodel to and had one of just her taken. Starr doesn't like having her photo taken at all. Weimaraner are usually very photogenic but not my sister Starr.

So if you remember last I left off we had to get yucky baths to look all pretty for our family photos. Well dadster finally got around to getting some of them edited.

First up is Bokeh and I. We did a really good job at sitting and staying to have our photos taken. The flash was scaring me a little and that is why my eyes are so big but I got used to it after awhile.

A funny story

So Sunday we went to have our family photos taken. Well the photographer guy was telling all the humans where to stand. Dad decided not to make Bokeh and I sit until everyone was all in place. So there they stood all huddled together because they were too wide, BOL and Bokeh got this great idea....he just started circling the humans. I guess he was keeping them herded together like a bunch of sheep. BOL. My brother is so silly.

Nature's Select

So momster entered me in another Halloween photo contest and I won. This was with a company called Nature's Select of Columbus. I won a HUGE 50 pound bag of food and a box of yummy treats. The great thing about this company is that they deliver the food right to your door and is it reasonably priced. Momster came home from work and saw a huge bag of food and a bag on our front step. They have all kinds of items on their website, cat food, cat litter, dog food and more. My favorite tab on their website is "Donate Food to Rescues". You know how much my family supports rescues and thinks this is great for the company to have this on their page. So if you have time check them out. (No we were not paid or bribed in anyway to post this information. We simply posted a photo on their page and was chosen as the winner, they didn't even know we had a blog).

I hate getting a bath!

Yesterday dad called Bokeh into his "office" area. Started hearing the sound of running water and mom and I snuck in for a peak and saw this...

BOL! BOL! BOL! Look at Bokeh's little chicken legs. Bokeh gets done and has the CRAZY zoomies all around the house shaking off, running, shaking off, running and well you get the point.

Next thing I hear is Sagira...come here. What!?!?!? Dad are you kidding me?

Next thing I know I am in the "office" and getting a bath too. What the heck is going on around here?

After my bath I have the fun zoomies as well. I zoom around even more than my brother does. Mom and dad were laughing, laughing, laughing. After Bokeh and I finish having the zoomies we get to sit in the office chair. We had our feet pad furs trimmed and our nails dremeled down so now there is no click clack on the hard floors here.

I asked momster what was up and she said we are having family photos taken tomorrow so we had to look all pretty. I asked why Starr didn't have to have a bath and well Starr doesn't have long furs and wasn't all stinky like we were. No fair!

VET

Ruh roh...someone had to go to the VET

I went with Bokeh to let him know he would be okay.

umm...maybe I had to lie a little. They stuck this thing up his poop shooter (I stole that term from Frankie, BOL).

Then they took Bokeh back through this big scary door to do blood work to make sure he doesn't have any worms in his heart

Mom, make them bring him back!

Ahhh ha! There you are Bokeh! Now lets play bitey face until the VET gets in here.

Bokeh is no longer having fun at the VET and is ready to go home. What a party pooper.

Note from momster...Bokeh checked out well. Has nice range of motion in his hips and legs. He is up to 48 pounds now. No heartworm (not shocking since he is on Interceptor) and his fecal test was clear as well. Now to get his papers sent in to TDI so he can keep visiting the patients.

Weimaraner Wednesday

Dad did a photo shoot for another family and mom brought Starr along. After dad finished his photo shoot he took some of Starr for mom. Both Starr and Mom are not photogenic so bare with us. BOL

Frankie and Ernie in the FURS!

So we told you that my last trial was in Zanesville. Everytime we trial there we always let our good friends Frankie and Ernie know that we will be there. Well Frankie and Ernie were not sure they would be able to get their mom to bring them to see us as they were busy entertaining Sarge's mom and some other really nice friends (that had 4 more little doggies that were super adorable). We were standing there and all of a sudden we saw the No Walkin Wagon pull up and we just knew that had to be our best buddies Frankie and Ernie. They brought their 4 other furfriends with them that were in their own wagon as well.

I had to run right over and see them. I have missed them very much.

We got to see Sarge's mom as well. It was SO much fun. We gave them some Christmas pressies and they gave us a WHOLE bag of goodies. Mom is making us wait until Christmas to open them though. BOO!

We always love when Frankie and Ernie come to cheer me on. Last time they were there I got my second (and as of right now last) QQ. This day I got a single Q. They are my good luck charms.

I sent some goodies home for Sarge to since he was busy remodeling the Police station and wasn't able to come hang out with us. We missed you Sarge.

Trial Last Weekend

So last weekend we traveled to Zanesville for my AKC trial. We got there just in time. It was time for dad to walk the course and I was the fourth dog up. Mom kind of liked me going early (less time for her to stress out, BOL).

First up was my standard run. It was a nice run but dad slowed me down a little too much in the serpentine so I wouldn't go up the A frame and caused me to drop a bar. Other than the run was nice.

My second run the JWW one I did really nice. I got a Q and four more points towards my MACH.

Oh...and the best part of the day was who we got to see. Check back to find out who it was. :)
