Mom grabbed her as soon as she saw her (mom has major puppy fever right now).
Skittles didn't come from a good place though. When our uncle went to get her she was in a small cage that was covered in fecal matter and dirty water. Poor baby. They sold her for $100 because they wanted her "gone" so they could have another litter. Bad breeders like this shouldn't be allowed. At least she is out of there now and will be well cared for. I just feel sorry for the next litter and the litter after that, etc. It just breaks our hearts.

ReplyDeleteSkittles is such a doll. Lightning says he wishes he could meet her - just think of the fun they could have together. Mom says she does look a lot like Lightning, especially with the eyes being blue and brown. But a lot of her brings back very fond memories of sweet Princess Dakota. We wish her and her new family a lifetime of fun and love together. Curses to that bad breeder.

ReplyDeleteChico came from a breeder. He stayed in a cage most of the time and was only let out to go potty and make babies. He has a much better life here with me. And I know Skittles will have a much better life with her family too.
