So Bokeh had his 6th week of therapy training. Only one more week to go and the last week is in an actual nursing home. I think Bokeh is ready to go and has done a great job. I'm anxious to see how he does in an actual nursing home.
The sixth week of class was held at Polaris mall again. Practiced the same thing we did last week, heeling, sit/stay, down/stay, riding the elevator, walking on different surfaces and of course doing up and saying hi to anyone that wants to say him.
Here is a short video clip of Bokeh and his classmates starting off their training by walking through the mall.
Doing some sit/stays
Saying hi to people
Doing some down/stays
Heeling video
More visiting with people (sorry this one is so blurry)
Being calm when asked to
Doing a great job at this one
Saying hi to some kids
Working on stays while dad walks away
Some more down/stays
Well done! That is awesome!

Don't you just love going to new places?
ReplyDeleteI think I need to send the chi's over for a few lessons!
ReplyDeleteGlad to see that everything is going so well with all of the training. I'm sure Bokeh will be an excellent therapy dog.
Such a well-trained boy! I'm excited to hear how it goes in the nursing home too!
ReplyDeleteIt's so cool! It can never happen here as dogs are a NO NO in most shopping malls here.
ReplyDeleteBokeh is so cool! What a clever boy.
wow such a nice place to train at! and ure doing a great job!
ReplyDeleteI think malls should ALWAYS allow pups to visit! Makes it a much friendlier, less sterile place! Bokeh is doing VERY well!
ReplyDeletePolaris used to be dog-friendly and anyone could take their dogs there (before Sagira and Ricky were around). Wish it still was. Guess people abused the privilege. It would be an awesome place to walk in the winter!
ReplyDeleteBokeh, we are proud of U , U are doing great.
