Sorry these photos are blurry. The training is inside a garage and mom doesn't want to interrupt the class so she doesn't use the flash on the camera so they come out kind of blurry, but you can get the point.
Okay....so week 2 at therapy training. Bokeh got introduced to a walker and a wheelchair this time.
First they practice their sit and down stays
Then they did some heeling. Check out how nice Bokeh is paying attention to dad
Then they practiced sitting after heeling
Paying close attention in class (Bokeh, no sleeping!)
Then he got groomed by Karen and checked all over, he didn't mind, he loves any attention
Then they brought out the wheelchair
Bokeh wasn't scared at all and went right up to it
He even sat very politely next to it so Karen could pet him
Now...this is the part of the test mom thinks Bokeh might have a problem with. That is walking over food and not eating it! She had to take a video of this one. Dad cheated by covering the food with his feet the first time though.
We meet a guy in a motorized wheelchair at the beach he wanted to pet me but I was afraid of his chair and wouldn't go near him.

Bokeh is doing so well in that class and does great attention heeling! I think the food would be my downfall for sure! :)
ReplyDeleteWay to go Bokah. YOu are working so hard. I gotta say the one thing that is hard for me is the walkers where they put tennis balls on them. I mean, what are they thinking.....
ReplyDeleteTennis Balls.....and they want us to leave them alone.
I am emberassed to say that last week at the hospital, I saw a walker in the hallway and no one was with it, so I just went over to check it out.
Boy did my vickie give me the evil eye.
Good luck dude,
your doing great
Bert
