Just realized that I don't think I told you about Picnic with the Pups. Wow...I am behind the times. This happened last month. It was held by CHA Animal Shelter and is always a lot of fun. We didn't get to stay as long as normal because you see mom had a really bad eye infection. She couldn't even open her eyes to the light until she went to the doctor and he gave her a cool sun shade. Mom says you know she loves us when she goes out in public for a dog event looking like she is about 80 years old. Sh...don't tell mom I showed you this picture.
Picture of all the booths and vendors before all the people arrived
There were a lot of things to do like listen to the band play, drink beer if you like that sort of thing, get your paw prints done (Starr and I had ours down last year, so it was Bokeh's turn this year)
He had pretty pink legs for a week
My training club was there
and the therapy dog club that I used to be part of
We also ran into our friend from the club, Mojo. This is one of the reasons we now have Bokeh. Dad fell in love with Mojo and wanted his very own blue merle Aussie.
See...now we have this
Dad and Bokeh entered the tricks contest. But they didn't win.
It was lots of fun
Today we are heading out to Xenia, Ohio for Doggie Dash and Splash. Tony Hoard is going to be there. He is the one that was on America's Got Talent and has Bokeh's Aunt, Elektra. Maybe we can try to get another photo of Bokeh and his famous aunt since we deleted the last photo we took.
This looks like a lot of fun! Our local Parks & Rec is holding a dog walk next Saturday. I'm planning on taking my dad's beagle to it since I don't think he gets very many walks anymore. I hope it's as much fun as your walk was.
