The rest of the story

Alrighty....mom is finally getting caught up on stuff and has time to help me tell my Pet Expo adventures. So Friday I spent the day with daddy doing my agility and weave pole demos for the fans. It was a lot of fun. Friday night I was in the costume contest and won first place.

Saturday mommy didn't have to work her booth so she was able to spend the day with us. I did more of my agility demos, met Joel Silverman and entered the costume contest again as a fairy princess. We got first place again!

Sunday was another fun day. The earth dogs were there. They are neat little guys that get to go in 9" x 9" tunnels to search for the rat. The earth dog lady let me play with the rat a little. She told me that she wishes I was smaller or they had bigger tunnels because I would make a great earth dog. Check me out in this video



I also got to be part of the "Meet the Breed" show. I represented the "All American" dogs.



We entered the costume contest again on Sunday. Mommy sent me out with her friend Bri and their dog Newton. Newton was Elvis and Bri and I had on our 50's poodle skirts. We came in 2nd place.

So that was my Pet Expo weekend adventures...the weather is so nice hear I heard mom mention the DOG PARK and SWIMMING...oh my!

I could be a superstar!

So this past weekend we practically lived at the Pet Expo in Columbus. Mommy's rescue had a booth set up there and she was in charge of that and daddy and I did demos for my training club. We walked around the expo in our free time. Joel Silverman, host on Animal Planet was there signing copies of his book. When he saw me he told my dad that I could get work in films as a coyote. Dad thought that was pretty neat and told mom. Mom said there would be no way unless they would film here in Ohio. haha. She doesn't want me flying around the world, so I guess no movie work for me. But it was neat to hear Mr. Silverman say that.

More Expo stories and events coming up. Mommy said their are just not enough hours in the day to get everything done that needs to be done. Poor mommy...I am going to go give her cuddles. I will be catching up on all my buddies blogs tomorrow, I promise.

Pet Expo

Pheww...what a busy weekend. We have one more day of the Pet Expo to go. We are all exhausted but wanted to share some of the stories with you.

Friday, Starr and mommy sat at our rescue booth to try to find some of the Weimaraners a new home. They talked to many people and educated them about the breed. Paws crossed we get some of the babies adopted out.



Friday night daddy entered me in a costume contest as a pirate. I came in first place for best costume. No pictures yet because mommy and Starr were also in the contest and got first place for best team. We got gift cards so mommy said she will take Starr and I shopping.

Today mommy didn't have to work her booth and got to spend the day with us. We did agility races for my training club. No pictures because it was too dark in there, but mom did get some video of me.

Then we did a race against Levi. At the end Levi got excited and kind of went after me a bit. Scared me, but I am okay. Daddy felt bad and so did Levi's mommy...but we were both okay.



and then...I went out with Michele and my friends Scarlet and Rascal in the costume contest. We ended up winning. How cute am I in my dress?



Okay...well off to bed, have another early day in the morning.

AHHH! Look what came back to visit

Woke up this morning and found this white stuff again. So weird, just last weekend we were swimming at the dog park. This crazy weather...

Off to Pet Expo so I will probably be MIA for a few days. But will hopefully have lots of pics and stories to share upon my return. Starr and I had to get baths last night so we would smell pretty for all the people who wanted to meet us.

Agility Run

Busy practicing for the Pet Expo coming up this weekend. It is going to be so much fun. Mommy's rescue group is going to have a booth so mommy has been busy planning the worker schedule, printing off the adoptable puppies, marking prices on the goodies they are going to be selling.

Mom's rescue group also just got in these cute magnets to sell. Mom said these are SO true in her case. I rescued her...

We had a beautiful and busy weekend. Saturday mom and dad took me to our training club to practice for the Columbus, Ohio PET EXPO.

Then we went to an open house for a doggy daycare/training place. I went out in the backyard and looked through the fence



and saw CHICKENS! I looked at mom like what the heck are those things? I kept sniffing, I really wish I could have seen them up closer. They were funny little things.



My friend Scarlet, the Weimaraner was barking at them like crazy. I think she wanted to eat the chickens. Poor chickens...

New trick

Daddy taught me a new command the other day. "Go Around". Here is a video mom took of us doing my new command. If you listen you can hear daddy bragging out how good of a trainer he is and how smart I am. He loves me...



Oh yeah...mom says please don't judge us based on our neighbors trashy back yard. They don't take care of their place AT ALL...drives mom nuts.

What is going on?

So Starr and I got to go bye-bye tonight. Mom tried out my new seat belt, HA HA...I laugh at your seat belt. I wiggled my way right out of it. Off to Petsmart we go. I usually love going to Petsmart to get new toys and supplies for my kitty sisters. But tonight...mom took us into the grooming salon. What are we doing in here mom?

Umm...hello? Why does this lady have me up on this weird table?

She told me to open up and say ah...I say AH ARE YOU CRAZY LADY? Let me out of here!



Mom said that I need to have my teeth brushed so I don't get stinky breath and the boys will still want to kiss me.

After that was over we went to get the kitty supplies. I had to stop by and say hi to my friends who are looking for new homes.

New toys and treats

Mom has been slacking off on helping me with my blog. She said she is sorry. She has been trying to get everything ready for the Columbus, OH Pet Expo PET EXPO Mom's rescue group is going to have a booth set up there and my training club is also going to be holding demos, so I get to show off some of my agility moves to the people watching. Last year was a lot of fun, after the shows people wanted to come up and meet me, I felt like a rock star.

Mom did try to make things up to us and got us some new toys and some yummy dental rawhides.

Even toys with "chew guards" are not strong enough to last me... BHA HAA HAA

STAY AWAY...I am very mean (not really, mom must have caught me shaking my head or something silly)



Hmm...decisions, decision...Mr. Moo or my bone? I say BOTH! Life is great.



Starr always has to go hide in the hallway so nobody will steal her bone. She is so silly, we have our own bones and don't want hers anyway.

I am also bummed, mom said that we lost an hour today. I don't know where it went, but I sure do hope we can find it soon.

Best part of rescue

The best part of being involved in rescue is the happy ending. You may remember we had Molly here for a little while to help her find her way to a new furever home. I am excited to tell you all that Molly has found that home. She is going to be loved and spoiled the rest of her days. Happy Gotcha day Miss Molly!
