Graduation night

So...I graduated from my level 6 agility class. I am not in level 6.5 which is the highest level they teach at our training club.

This is my first run of the night (I am slow moving because this is the day after my trial last weekend with no rest in between)

and my second run

Dad is super happy with how I am running. I am very consistent, but dad would just like to speed me up now. Any suggestions?

  4. We think accuracy is most important, the speed will come with time. Heck, we don't even know what we are talking about - we don't think we could do all that great stuff.

  6. Congratulations on graduating from level 6, Sagira! That's not an easy task! What a good girl you are!

Are you food motivated? (I can't remember) Because you could try some food targets - like one at the end of the weaves. Just for practice to show you that you can go faster. Or if you like toys, a toy thrown as you complete the weaves so you can chase it? I think you are pretty fast though and you definitely speed up at the end - like me! :)

  9. Congratulations Sagira! You worked really hard and totally deserve this recognition. I agree accuracy is much more important than speed.

  11. Sagira...
I wish I had a real suggestion for you. How much time do you spend training? Is the start, equipment approach slow or transition slow? Maybe identify one specific part and work on it then build it to other areas of the course. So for example work on starts repetitiously. I don't know.. mom is just thinking back to her competitive swimming days.

  12. Get a Weim for agility! Then you'd have all the speed with little accuracy- hehe
    You're doing a great job!

  13. Hi Sagira! Congrats on graduating - that is so cool! We think you do such a great job - we are always so impressed! We don't know what you would do to speed up - you seem speedy to us but we aren't super knowledgable about agility, we just know you are way faster than we would be!
