Day 2 of the trial

Wow...should have stayed home for the second day. Didn't qualify in either run. My standard run was okay up until my dad about fell over but he ran through it and ended up not going down. Then on my weaves for some reason I decided I was thinking about not finishing them and dad kind of sternly told me to finish them and that scared me. I did finish them but ended in a weird spot and decided to take a short cut and just cut back on through the weave poles and got called for that, I guess you can't go back through them again, haha. Then, after my tunnel I lost site of my dad but did see the "judge" who is also my instructor so I knew him and thought I would go pay him a visit but I guess I wasn't supposed to do that either.

My second run was my JWW. I was pretty tired by this point and moving really slow. Made it about 1/2 way through and then dad forgot to tell me to jump so guess what I didn't jump and got called with a refusal for not doing my jump. Well...dad if you want me to jump you have to tell me to jump, DUH!

  1. That's OK, Sagira. After that title win on Saturday, you were entitled to an off day. We know you were tired and will do better next time.

  2. Sagira, we think you are doing great no matter what you do. We think that visiting the judge should bring in more points! Lots of love, Holly and mom

  6. You know what Sagira? My mom does the same thing - she doesn't tell me to jump and then expects me to jump any way. Silly moms and dads! You were really flying at the end of the jumpers run though.

You have fantastic runs all the time and of course it is only normal to have a not-so-great one now and then. It proves that you are human (ummm, I mean dog?).

  10. Your Saturday was amazingly wonderful! So Sunday was a little off? It is not the end of the world...or your career...you AND dad still looked awfully good to us! Remember, it is the journey that is important not the end.

  11. That's okay, Sagira! We all know you're tired after all the jumps on Saturday and you'd won all the fantastic titles. Our minds do go stray sometimes and I think it's completely alright so just give yourself an off day is normal. Anyway, you'll strike back soon!!!
