Bokeh was microchipped

Monday we jumped in the car and headed over to Rascal Unit. The people there were really nice. It was Bokeh's turn to get a microchip put in him. That way if he ever gets lost (which we hope never ever happens) they can scan his chip and return him to us. Mom thought Bokeh would scream and cry (because he does that a lot when he thinks he is hurt or just isn't happy) but he was a big boy and did a great job.

The Rascal Unit has a big truck that they take out to help do low cost spay and neuters. Check out the big truck...



They took Bokeh back in the room and checked him for a microchip to make sure we were not putting a second one in him.



He came back clean

Dad tricked Bokeh and let him chew a bully stick for a few minutes so he wouldn't know what they were doing.



hahah..the trick worked.

Contest Goodies

Remember when mom was going crazy entering my photo in Halloween contest? Well the nice people at Cetacea chose me as their winner. My box of goodies arrived Monday. Look at all the cool stuff they sent. They sent us 2 Harness, a really nice leash, 4 collars, tag its, keychains and a traffic lead. Mom is sharing a collar with Ripley since Ripley's mom is the one who told us about the contest.

Weimaraner Wednesday

I bet you are wondering what the heck is going on with that photo. haha

Our fellow blogger, Weim Crazy had a contest to see who had the longest Weimaraner wingspan. My sister Starr has some pretty long ears so we decided to enter her in the contest. She measured at 20". She was beat by a measurement of 20.5"...oh so close Starr.

Christmas Cards

I just wanted to thank all my special friends new and old who sent me a Christmas card this year. I received a total of 22 cards in the mail and a bunch of email cards as well. Mom and dad were jealous, I received more cards than they did. hehe

Bokeh is 14 weeks

Sorry this is a little late. Mom still isn't feeling to hot and I had to wait for her to carry herself down the steps to help me post this.

My baby brother is now 14 weeks old. We took him in today and had him microchipped (video of that coming up soon). He was 20.2 pounds today at the clinic.

On a side note...my mom has been pretty sick. She has been home from work since Monday. She has bronchitis, but it isn't getting any better. She went back to her human VET and they want her to have a chest x-ray done to see if it is pneumonia. Please send my mom some good vibes to help her feel better. I have been the best girl ever and have been staying right by my mom's side. She couldn't sleep last night and just sat on the couch all night and I was right there with her.
