Missouri Trip Part 2

So last Wednesday morning mom had tears in her eyes and told Starr and Harley we would see them on Saturday night. Starr and Harley were in good hands, Grandma Margie and her friend stayed at our house to watch them. We packed up the car and off we went. After a few hours we were leaving the great state of Ohio.

and was in Indiana (we forgot to get a Welcome to Indiana photo). We stopped of at Indianapolis and dropped off all the Weim and Cheese donations we have received to one of the adoption coordinators for mom's rescue. Back in the car we went and we saw this sign as we left Indiana.

After a few more hours an another potty break we saw this sign

and then we drove through downtown and saw the Arch. How beautiful! Mom wanted to try to go see it up close but we didn't have directions on how to get to it, so maybe we will do that next time.

After about 8 hours in the car we finally reached the beautiful event center at Purina Farms

They sure do have a beautiful place for the farm and event center. So green and hilly in Missouri.

Our Trip to Missouri

Wow, I have so much to tell you about. I don't know if you remember but dad got hired as the action photographer of the 2012 Mini Australian Shepherd nationals. This was held in Missouri. So we packed up this last week and went several states away to attend Mini nationals. First dad took crybaby Bokeh to get a bath and a grooming by our friend Kim who has her own grooming van that is super nice. She gave Bokeh a nice bath, brush and trimming so he would look like a real Aussie again. Here he is crying getting wet

And here he is getting blow dried. He thinks if he gives Kim enough kisses she might stop. BOL

Well, now that we have Bokeh all pretty we can get ready to head out.

IncrediPaws

Bokeh needs some help in the agility field. So dad took him back to IncrediPaws. Need to work on his jumping confidence and his weave poles. Class started by working on start line stays. They had them go to one of there favorite obstacles and work on their stay. Bokeh did pretty good at this. After that they worked on some of their two on two offs. Here is a little video clip of Bokeh coming all the way off the A Frame and then sitting. Not sure why he started this all of a sudden but we have worked to get him back to two on two off.

Bokeh worked on his weave poles

and some Teeter work

Hopefully things will click soon for Bokeh and he will learn agility is as fun as frisbee.

Mutts and Co

Remember a long time ago Bokeh and I were selected to be 2 of Mutts and Co's models? Well, they sent us a thank you email with a link to some of the photos that were taken with an option to purchase them. Mutts and Co also told us as a thank you they had a $40 gift card waiting for us at the store. We went to pick it up the other day. It had one of the other pups photos on the gift card, how cool is that? Mutts and Co is remodeling and we can't wait to see if Bokeh or I made the shots that they are going to use in their store. Here we are holding the gift card.

I won!

Remember when Trupanion had this contest? Well we participated and was one of the five chosen to win a gift card to either Petco or Amazon. We chose Amazon this time. Thank you Trupanion for keeping things fun and making sure Bokeh and I are covered if we ever get sick.

New Harnesses

Our cousin Hershey wanted to have a cool harness like we have. His mom picked out a green one for him. What do you think?

and those of you that know my mom know her favorite color is purple. As soon as she heard Julius K9 had a purple one out she had to get one for me. Photobucket

The three of us modeling our harnesses. Don't you think Julius K9 should hire us as their models?
