Our great pal Sarge sent us a box FULL of goodies for Christmas. We have been running behind on things so we just got to open it today.

We were taking pictures of everything and I had to sniff things out

New Couch!

Guess what! They bought US a new couch, wonder where mom and dad are going to sit? BOL

Trial time!

Had a trial this weekend in the blizzard! Don't know what mom and dad were thinking driving a normally 45 minute drive just to do agility. The drive home was SO bad mom couldn't see ANYTHING in front of her because the snow was blowing so much on the free way. She was going like 25 with the blinkers on and crying because she couldn't even tell what lane she was in (or if she was even ON the freeway anymore). These humans have lost their minds I tell you!

We arrived in one piece thankfully. This is video of my standard run. It was a BEAUTIFUL run and one of my fastest runs but at the very end I dropped at bar and didn't get my Q. :( But mom and dad said they are still SO happy with me and this run, it was one of my best.

This is my jumpers run, not so pretty but I was having FUN and that is all that matters. BOL

The next trial we go to Tempest gets measured and we find out if she jumps 16" or 20". We are hoping 16" but our luck she will be 20". BOL

Chewy time!

It's that time again. Our great friend over at Chewy asked us to do another review. This time it is for Greenies Treats.

Chewy is always SO fast with their deliveries and their customer service is like non other.

In review, we really enjoyed these Greenies. They were yummy and momster said the vets say they are great for keeping your teeth in great shape.

Tempest Tuesday

Tempest went with us to the Barn Hunt run through. This was her first try at it. She was SCARED of the rat, BOL. My sister is silly!

This is her second run and she got a little more brave with the rat this time

Barn Hunting

This weekend they were doing Barn Hunt run throughs at our training club. Mom knows how much I love to do this so she asked dadster if we could go. I'm glad that he agreed because I had so much fun.

This is my first run (remember I haven't done this since last summer). In Barn hunt you have to do three things, you have to go under the tunnel of straw, you then have to go over the straw (all four paws have to touch it at some point) and then you have to do the most important thing and FIND THAT RAT (that is my favorite part)

My first run it took me 45 seconds to indicate to dadster which tube had the rat in it.

This is my second run, I go right to the rat but dadster pulled me off trying to get me to go under the tunnel first. Bad dad! BOL

Tempest's first Freestyle

So last weekend our disc dog club held its annual JaMuary event. Mom and dad packed up Tempest and Bokeh, got in the car and went to pull out of the garage and saw all this water EVERYWHERE! The sump pump was broken and it was raining and water was just spraying everywhere. So they all got out of the car and dad tried to put buckets down to prevent water from getting into our home. Momster called our home warranty people and they said they would try to get there as soon as possible. 9:30 am (we called at 6 am) they showed up to fix it. It took the guy just 2 seconds to repair the situation and then mom and dad decided they still had enough time to catch 1/2 of the event. Bokeh didn't get to go because they already did the toss and fetch which is what Bokeh would have competed in. They got there just in time for Freestyle and Tempest got to make her debut. Here she is:

Tempest got FIRST place for her freestyle routine in the intermediate division. Not bad considering the weather has been really cold and dadster didn't practice a routine with her at all.

After the freestyle they did team time trial. Tempest was on a team with Bokeh's Aunt (Bella) and cousin (Bazooka). They didn't place though because they didn't finish in time, oops! haha

After that was over they did something called the gauntlet. Momster didn't record that because it was a bunch of different games. Tempest actually scored the most in her division and got 1st place in that as well.

At the end of the day they announced the over all winners. Tempest got best overall in her division as well. We are so proud of Miss Tempie!

She brought home LOTS and LOTS of toys and some supplements as well.

We also want to give a special thank you to Mars Pedigree who donated a year supply of dog food to one of our competitors and also gave us goodie bags for each person who competed in the events. Mars is always so nice to momster anytime she asks them to help out with either her rescue or disc events. Here are some of the competitors with their goodie bags.

Also, wanted to say congrats to Tempie's sister Jerica for getting first place in the junior handler division.

Dog Fancy

All my friends, I some furexciting news! Dadster had one of his photos published in this month's Dog Fancy magazine. How cool is that? You see our friend Stacie, has a bad dog (her words), and wrote in to get advice on Thyme's behavior problems. Well Dog Fancy decided to publish her question and included a photo of Thyme that dadster took. How cool! You guys should pick up a copy if you can.

Weimaraner Wednesday

We had company over for Christmas so mom piled all the living room dog beds in their room. Starr thought it was a new princess bed for her with 3 beds piled together, BOL

Tempest got to play with her litter mate, Jerica, the other day. They had so much fun playing Frisbee. I was busy sniffing around the grass and didn't get involved in all their Frisbee chasing. Here are some shots of them in action.

Chewy is GREAT

As most know we do a monthly review for Chewy. They always send us the item to review very quickly and have great customer service.

We received a package from Chewy that we were not expecting. We anxiously opened it and guess what! It was a PAINTING of ME! Can you believe it?

Momster got tears in her eyes. It was such a beautiful and unexpected gift to arrive in the mail. It has one of mom's favorite colors (purple) in it and is just absolutely BEAUTUIFUL. Agility trial

On December 28th we headed to Zanesville for another agility trial. We love going to trials in Zanesville because our friends Frankie and Ernie usually met us there. This time we got to give them the pressies we picked out for them for Christmas and they gave us some Christmas goodies as well. They are such nice guys.

Frankie and Ernie gave me good luck and I got a Q in my standard run with 9 more MACH points.

My Jumpers run wasn't so great. Dad messed up and sent me in the wrong end of the tunnel and then I dropped a bar. Still had fun though.

Tempest finished her next level of class

Tempest finished up her next class at IncrediPaws. This is video from the last night she was there. She got to run a full course and she is learning her weave poles in the 2 x 2 method. She is up to 6 poles now.

Dadster wanted to see if she was a smarty pants and would do all 12. We know you're not supposed to go right into 12 from 6 but just wanted to see...and the results are.....
