Remember when I told you Fromm had a photo contest for Halloween and I won? (If not you can see the original post HERE)

Well my box of goodies arrived and boy was that box HEAVY and had a lot of yummy goodies in it

Can you believe all this stuff they sent us? This one bag is as big as I am! We can't wait to try some of the different flavors. Bokeh eats Fromm all the time and I eat a mixture of Fromm and Orijen. Everyone always tells us how soft our fur is. (We are not paid or anything to say any of this, just honestly how we feel).

Thank you Fromm for all the yummy food!

Ruff Sticks

Ruff Sticks had a photo contest on Facebook for Halloween. I guess only a few people entered so they gave everyone a prize. My envelope arrived in the mail and had a soft and comfy hoodie (mom, I don't think this is for dogs, BOL) and some YUMMY treats. New book

My friend Bocci had a give away for a new book and we won. Bocci was nice and mailed us the book and this cute card.

The other day dad took Bokeh to play disc at the park without me. HMPPF! When he got home mom told him how upset I was so he took me for a walk...just me and dad and it was great.

Thanksgiving

We all packed up in the car Thanksgiving day and headed to Marblehead, Ohio to visit with Grandma

After what seemed like 87 million hours in the car (really only 2.5 hours) we arrived and got to hang out with cousin Hershey

We had fun just relaxing waiting for the turkey to be done

We all took a turn begging Grandma for some of her yummy turkey. She of course had to give us each some. It was yummy.

Before we headed home we walked around back to go potty and you would not believe what we saw....ROOSTERS and CHICKENS right in Grandma's back yard. Mom and dad sure were happy they had us on leash. We wanted to go chase those things BAD. Sorry we don't have a pic it caught mom and dad off guard as they were not expecting to see them since Grandma doesn't really live on a farm or anything. I guess one of the neighbors just lets his chickens and roosters roam free. Starr went on point and stood real still, her tailed out straight and her leg bent up. It was so fun to see her do what she was bred to do. When we go back next time mom will try to have the flashy beast ready to go.

Hope all our friends had a great Thanksgiving as we sure did.

So Wednesday evening we met up with a fellow blogger who was visiting Columbus for Turkey day.

Yep...it is my friend NORWOOD

It was so much fun meeting Norwood in the furs. Mom saw Norwood and called him from across the park and boy did he come running and jumped up to give mom a big ol kiss.

He tried to act a little shy at first

He even brought one of his friends Sara Lee who is 17 years old. (you can see Norwood and Bokeh making friends in the back playing disc together)

Starr liked meeting Norwood to (she really liked Norwood's mom and all the yummy treats coming out of her pocket)

We all turned into beggers for some yummy treats

And of course we had to humor the humans and pose for a silly photo

Oh yeah...something did happen to make momster pretty red in the face. Bokeh (NEVER done this before) decided to hike his leg on Sara Lee's momster, Beth. Oh boy...did mom and dad feel AWFUL and kept apologizing to Ms. Beth for Bokeh's actions. My silly brother...

We are heading to Zanesville today to hopefully meet up with Frankie and Ernie in the furs as well plus I have an agility trial to day. Hope I bring home a Q or 2. :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of our friends. We are so very thankful to have each and every one of you in our lives.

Two years ago the night before Thanksgiving this is what we were doing...

I get to meet a blog friend

Mom just told me that she has arranged me meeting one of my blog friends in the furs tomorrow....she will not tell me who though. GRRR! She just keeps saying he is one cool dude. Anyone have any guesses who I get to meet tomorrow evening? This is such an exciting week because I also get to see Frankie and Ernie on Saturday. They are going to come to my agility trial to cheer me on (last time they were there I got two QQs!)

Last Sunday

Last Sunday it was so beautiful here in Columbus. It was 65 and sunny so we called all our disc dog friends and arranged a play date at the park.

Mom counted that 16 dogs showed up. All of them were from the herding breed. haha

This is our friend Thyme, she is an 8 month old border collie

and our friend Dougal who is around the same age as Thyme. He just got his man parts removed, poor guy.

I love puppies so I was busy hanging out with the new guy in the group. His name is Street and he is a 10 week old border collie. Isn't he cute?

Weimaraner Wednesday

Puppies! Puppies! Puppies! Mom's rescue just took in a litter of EIGHT 2 month old Weim puppies. How cute are they? Mom tried to foster one but they all got snagged up before they made it to Columbus.

Thank you to all who sent healing wishes to Starr. Her leg is doing a little better. She is still a little weak on it but we have been giving her the pain pills on schedule as well as her new joint supplments.

My brother

My brother, Milo, was attacked by a pit bull last week. Very scary turn of events. We just found out from Milo's mom on Facebook. Please send Milo some healing thoughts. When mom saw this picture she just gasped. She said it looks so much like me and she can't imagine me ever being hurt like this. Feel better soon big bro!

We are kind of sad that we didn't make it out to many of the Halloween events for one reason or another but Fromm did an online contest and look who they chose as one of their winners? Yahooo!

Can't wait for the goodies to arrive.

It is so beautiful today here in Columbus. We are having a frisbee dog play date at the park today. Can't wait!

Starr

This past Sunday mom and dad took Starr to the emergency vet ER place. After about 5 hours they came back home. My sister is not able to put much weight on her back right leg. They did x-rays and stuff on both her hips and her knees. The doctor came back and told mom and dad that they both looked clean for a dog Starr's age (she is 12 now). She said she sees some arthritis in her hips but nothing more than a dog her age would be expected to have. They are not sure why Starr can't put any weight down and gave her a prescription for some Tramadol and some joint supplement chews. They said if she isn't feeling better in 10 days or gets worse that we need to take her back in. Starr could use some healing vibes from all our blog pals. It is now several days later and she is about the same.

Therapy Thursday

This past Monday mom and dad took Bokeh to the hospital to visit with some patients. They said that this was one of the best visits there. Bokeh was making everyone smile but he met a special buddy this night as well. There was a lady and gentleman sitting in the hallway and Bokeh went up and was letting them pet him. The lady asked if we could take Bokeh in to see her father. We said that we would be happy to. When we entered the room her father smiled really big and was very excited to see Bokeh. He was having a hard time reaching Bokeh with his railing up so we put Bokeh on a chair and scooted him next to the bed so he could reach him better. We were in there for awhile and then told them we were going to go and the woman's father said "Don't Go". He was fairly ill and seemed it was hard for him to speak but it was so heart warming to know he wanted Bokeh to stay with him a little longer which we were happy to do. After that we were asked to visit another lady. We totally made this ladies night, she was smiling so much and kept telling us how kind we were to do this and that she just loved Bokeh. We told her all about Bokeh's adventures and told her maybe someday she would see him on TV. It was a great night and felt like we brought some joy to some people who could use it.

Weimaraner Wednesday

Our good friends over at Tri State Weimaraner Rescue are hosting a party through Three Scoops of Vanilla this coming Friday, November 9th. 25% of the sales November 9th ONLY will be donated back to Tri-State Weim Rescue. Lure Coursing

After the competition was over in Georgia they had Lure Coursing set up on the field across the way. We figured as a stress reliever we would see what the pups thought of it. We let Bokeh go first (this is his very first time trying it) and he loved it.

I chased it for a little bit but then lost interest... I would rather chase a REAL bunny!
