Skyhoundz Event

Saturday we all got packed up in the car and headed to New Castle, IN. Bokeh had another disc dog competition. This one was extra exciting because we finally got to meet Bokeh's breeders Angie and Bill in person (we will tell you more about that later). They were super nice and loved how well Bokeh was doing. Matt and Bazooka was there as well as Sharon and Bling (Bokeh's cousins).

Bokeh did amazing again. It was SO hot out, over 100 with the heat index so we were not expecting to much. We tried to keep everyone as cool as possible with generators running fans for the dogs, hoses, etc. I got pretty hot by the end of the day and they had to stick me in the car with the ac running. Mom said I really scared her. :(

Here is video of his first round of Freestyle (if you only have time to watch one, this is the best of the 3)

This is his toss and fetch round. He placed 12th out of 16, not his strong point

This is his second round of freestyle after being there ALL day in the heat and after waiting a storm out. This was done around the 8 pm hour. He did awesome.

Bokeh came home with a new award. He got 2nd place again in Novice Freestyle

  3. Wow Bokeh, those videos are fantastic - your catching is just unbelievable. We don't do catching, if she throws something for us it usually just hits us on the head! Well done on your award!!!! Dex and Lou xxx

If we insert Ryker for the toss and fetch we would clean house! Ryker has no done any freestyle yet.

  5. Bokeh, you are doing so well, we know that first place is coming for you. You and Dad are such a great team.

Sagira, we don't know how you and your humans were able to be outside in that heat. It is just totally unbearable here, and the worst part is that it just keeps going on and on and on. Hoping for cool soon.
