Helping the Kids
Last Saturday when we went to the Frisbee event, a guy was there that was asking people to donate their used discs to him because he was having a demonstration for some children who have the nasty C word. Mom and dad thought this was a very nice thing and they took a disc down from Bokeh and I. They had us pawtograph them and the guy took a photo of us with our disc so that each kid will not only get the frisbee from us but also a photo of us with the frisbee. They also wanted one fun fact about us, so I told them I had my own blog. :)

That is a great cause. If they want more, maybe we could all do a "blogville challenge" and get pictures of us with frizbees and send them a whole bunch.

What a great idea to share your flying disc with those children! You and your family as SO generous. also sorry to hear there will be no 2MillionDog Walk becauuse of cancer...a reason for us to walk harder!
ReplyDeleteEver been to the SouthWest? We would love for your family to pile into the car and join us for the New Mexico Puppy Up on September 25! You could do an agility demonstration and Bokeh could show off his frisbee skills! We are planning a great day!
