Friday Flashback

On a side note...my mom has been pretty sick. She has been home from work since Monday. She has bronchitis, but it isn't getting any better. She went back to her human VET and they want her to have a chest x-ray done to see if it is pneumonia. Please send my mom some good vibes to help her feel better. I have been the best girl ever and have been staying right by my mom's side. She couldn't sleep last night and just sat on the couch all night and I was right there with her.

Made for a friend

Dad made this for a friend, Matt. He is the reason we now have Bokeh and admire the great work he does with his dogs.

Bokeh is 13 weeks old

A little late on this post, but brother Bokeh is now 13 weeks old. Still growing like a week. This week we have noticed that his nose is getting longer as well as his legs and body.

Bokeh made a new friend

Bokeh met a new friend. His name is Ben and he was born one week before Bokeh. He is a Weimaraner puppy and is OH SO CUTE! Mom was a little jealous as this is the puppy she was hoping for. Oh well...we still love our Bokeh but nothing cuter to mom than a Weim pup. We might be trading pups for a night so Ben can get used to a new place and so can Bokeh. We will see how that goes.

So last Friday we took Bokeh to the vet for the first time. I got to go along to support him and we had agility run throughs right after so I had to go.

Bokeh wasn't scared at the vet's office at all.

Bokeh did as expected at the vet. He screamed and cried as they took him temperature and cut his nails. He also didn't like Dr. Knapp checking his ears, legs or hips. He is such a cry baby. Mom thought he was going to scream when Dr. Knapp gave him his vaccines but Dr. Knapp was smart and gave him a big cookie to chew on and Bokeh didn't even know he got poked.

Starr's Secret Santa

Starr got her Secret Santa. Guess who it was? It was June's brother Blue. We adore Blue and were so happy to have him as Starr's Secret Santa. We loved everything. Mom was laughing at me and said if I could have climbed in Starr's enveloped to get the treats myself that I would have. hehe

Well, mom is part of a Weimaraner forum. They always do a secret santa so she signed me and Starr up. We got our packages and got to open them today. It was so much fun. I will share my video first.

A few weeks ago one of my favorite stores, Mutts and co had a customer appreciation night. They had John LaFree in there doing caricature drawings. He had a pretty big line going on. We waited our turn and this is how it turned out.

Bokeh is 12 weeks old today

So...little baby Bokeh is now 12 weeks old. We took him to meet Dr. Knapp last night. Funny that we just took him last Saturday (6 days prior) and he weighed in at 9.2 pounds. Well, last night he weighed 16.1 pounds. He gained SEVEN pounds in just 6 days. Can you believe that? He is growing like a little weed. We could tell he got taller this week. Everyone is telling us he is not a mini Aussie. So I guess we will see once he gets done growing how big he ends up.

Friday Flashback

This is the 2nd in the series of photos that Grandma's friend took of me when I was a puppy.

We met Santa!

Last weekend Complete Petmart had Santa visiting. They were doing photos with all the money being given to a rescue group (that was SO nice of them to do). So mom took 3 of us up to meet Santa. Bokeh really like Santa. Mom was sad though, when our picture printed they cut me off. It was fine on the camera. The store said they would email it to mom but she just got an email saying it was deleted by mistake. They offered to redo it this weekend for us, that was nice of them.

Wordless Wednesday

Bokeh wanted to know if he could do Wordless Wednesday today so I thought I would share and let him take over. All yours Bokeh...

My dad cheated on me!

We went to our training clubs agility potluck and agility run through this past Friday night. Well our friend asked my dad to run her Aussie, Mojo, for her. During the middle of the run you will hear me bark like hey what is my dad doing out there! Dad really like Mojo and he is one of the reasons we now have an Aussie in our family.

Bokeh's first trip to the vet

So Saturday on our way home from the park we were super close to our vet's office. Mom called and asked if we could bring Bokeh in to have him weighed and just practice being at the vet without getting any shots so he will think the vet's office is a good place to go.

He did great at the vet's office. He wasn't scared at all and we had them give him lots of praise and goodies. Good job brother Bokeh!

We invented a new game!

So we were at the park with a bunch of our friends today. Mom and dad had Bokeh on a long line because they don't trust him off leash yet. Well, Ripley (my black lab pal) loves to lure course. He started following Bokeh's long line around. All the humans got to talking and laughing and thought it would be a great new fun game to tie the long line to one of the super fast border collies and put a poop bag on the end of it and make it seem like Ripley was lure coursing. They were not sure if it would work or not....well we will let you see for yourself it if worked or not. HA HA HA HA

Bokeh is 11 weeks old today

Wow...we have noticed a ton of growth and learning in this past week. He is starting to play harder with me as well. He has also started to chase me (which I love).

He wasn't being very cooperative with dad today



He kept trying to steal the treats from the Wobbler



Then when dad asked him to sit again he had to tell dad he didn't like that hehe



He says I am cute I can do whatever I want to
