Sad
Monday mom and dad had to take Samick to the vet. I went with him so he wouldn't be scared by himself. Samick has been drinking a lot more water and peeing a lot more than normal. Sometimes when mom gets home from work he runs to the door and just goes before she can even let him out. Mom doesn't get mad though, she knows my brother is getting older and can't help it. Samick just turned 11 in March. The vet called mom back and told her that the test they ran showed some abnormal cells which is making him a bit concerned. He thinks that Samick might have a tumor on his kidney or have a really bad infection. Mom has been very sad and crying. She is trying not to worry until they find out for sure what is wrong. Samick has to go back to the vet on Friday to have an ultrasound done on his kidney. I don't get to go with him this because he has to stay there until they are done with his procedure. So please, send my big brother some good thoughts and vibes that it is only an infection.

Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry. Not knowing is the worst. I sure hope it's just an infection. sounds like it can be. that would be the best news.

Oh no we really really hope it is just an infection and easy to clear up! We are sending lots of purrs and prayers both for a good test result and for Sammick to to feel better soon! We are also sending your mom some comforting kitty headbutts and hope she will be ok. We are keeping our paws and fingers crossed for it to only be an infection!

Lots of paws crossed at Chez Herd for Samick and good thoughts for all of the family. We know how difficult it is to wait on the results of tests and pray for the best outcomes.
