So we have some good and bad news for you...lets start with the good.
Sagira had her second agility trial this past weekend. Her first day she had 3 runs, a standard run, jumpers run and tunnelers run. The first one was her standard run, this course was a bit tricky for a novice dog. They start out by having the dog walk and tunnel right next to each other and they were supposed to take the dog walk, but Sagira went in the tunnel instead. So she didn't get a qualifying (Q) run for that one, but that was okay. Her second run of the day was her jumpers run. She did AWESOME on this run and was perfect. She got her Q and also a first place ribbon! Her last run of the day was her tunnelers run. She did perfect on this run as well and earned her Q and another first place ribbon. She was exhausted after being there all day, we all were. So we headed home, got a good nights sleep and were back at it again early Sunday morning. Sagira had the same 3 runs (different courses though) on Sunday. She didn't Q in her standard or jumpers runs. BUT...she did get her Q in the most important run of the trial. If she ran perfect in her tunnelers run she would earn her very first agility title. We knew she was tired, but asked her to give it 100% and bring home a title for Valentine's day. I must say our baby girl did awesome on her last run. Not only did she get her Q, she earned her very first agility title, TN-N with NADAC and got first place. We couldn't be more proud of our baby girl.
Here is the video of her last run of the day which she earned her title, so you can all share in the excitement with us:
Now on to the bad news. Yesterday we were out paying our car insurance payment and on the way to pick up my car from the shop. It was really bad here, snowing very heavy, my husband was driving. We were going very slow, must have hit a pothole, the car came out of the hole and just started to turn left. There was a van coming the opposite direction and he ran right into my passenger door where I was at. Luckily, nobody was injured, but it sure did make us realize that in a split second your life could change. Our car is now at the collision center. We are very close to paying it off, so they will hopefully not total it out. We are just waiting to hear back. I am just glad that Starr and Sagira were not with us. They were with us earlier in the day but we dropped them off back at home before we finished the stuff we had to do.
Wow that is great that Sagira did so well at the agility trials - congrats to her on her first title!!

Pee.Ess. That groundhog stuffie is the first one EVER that I do not want to de-stuff. Well, I want to but not as much as the other ones. Mom's tryin' to teach me to play nice with stuffies.
