Sweet Frankie

Today is a very sad day. I volunteer for a Weimaraner Rescue. I received a call today informing me that my friends foster dog passed away this morning. She was a beautiful 1 year old Weim that was found as a stray. Michele was a wonderful foster mom and opened her home and heart to Frankie. Frankie was a one year old sweet girl with sores all over her feet and legs and bad ear infections. Michele worked to get her all cleaned up and infections out. Frankie was supposed to be adopted this weekend to a wonderful family. Frankie was spayed yesterday and had complications from her surgery. She passed away this morning. Our hearts go out to Michele and the family that planned to give Frankie a wonderful life. Sometimes I don't understand why things happen. It just doesn't seem fair that poor Frankie had such a rough beginning to life and just when things turned around for her she was taken away.

RIP sweet girl...

  1. That is so sad. Poor Frankie, guess the Rainbow Bridge needed another angel. Your friend is a wonderful person to try to help her.

  4. Hi Sagira,

Aaaah, what a sad story and what a beautiful dog.

It's true, we never do know why things like this happen, yet they do.

Blessings to you and Frankie's family.

    Love,
    Riley and Star.
