Sagira was on the news

There was a big dog festival today called Wag!fest. It was a lot of fun. Thursday we had the opportunity to help our training club out by doing a demo LIVE on the morning news. We arrived around 7:45 and they called Sagira over and asked if they could use her in the first segment with Moochie and Co. as well. They had her model an OSU jersey. She looked pretty darn cute but sat still as a statue when the camera guy was filming them. After that segment they came back about 20 minutes later and did a segment with a border control dog. It was pretty neat to watch it sniff the boxes and pick out the correct box with the item in it. Then came the fun segment at the end of the show where our training club was doing agility demos. Sagira was the first one up and missed her first jumps, but did okay after that.

Bark Til Dark Dog Park

Last Saturday we went to Bark Til Dark Dog Park for a fund raising event for a Horse Rescue. It was a beautiful day. Pretty hot, so Samick didn't get to go since he gets over heated. Harley reminded Sagira that she knows how to actually swim instead of just splash around.

The new soccer ball

The kids next door knocked their soccer ball in our yard by mistake about a month ago. Sagira loved it once she figured out it was a ball. They took their ball back so my co-worker was nice enough to give me an extra one her daughter had. Sagira loves playing with the soccer ball. Of course she has to do a run by to show you her "prize". Here is a video from today...

Weimaraner Meet Up 09

So the people in the Ohio area finally had a Weimaraner meet up at the dog park. It was a beautiful day out, not to hot and just perfect for the dogs to take a nice swim and have fun at the dog park.

This is Delia a cute 9 week old puppy that all of us were oohhing and ahhing over. This is the reason we fell for Weims, they are the cutest puppies!

I know there were more Weims that this, I think we missed about 10 or so of them. Hard to keep track of this many Weims in one place. But we had a great time.

Moving on up

Sagira passed her Level 3 agility class this week and is now moving up to Level 4. Seems like just yesterday that she started her first agility class and now she is up to Level 4 already.

She didn't do the best this night, she was having an off night. But this is her final run through in Level 3 class.

State Fair

Wow...where has the time gone? Have been so busy, haven't had time to update.

Sagira peformed in the dog show at the Ohio State Fair last weekend. She did really good with her agility considering all the smells on the grass that we did our demo in.
