Pet People

After we did our nursing home visit we had to stop off at Pet People to get Bokeh some more food. We had to check out all the new toys and stuff along the way.

Nursing Home Demo

Our training club did a demo at a nursing home. Mom let me go along because we were going to have our Easter pictures taken after the demo. I normally don't go anymore because I am pretty scared. After I was at the hospital doing my therapy dog visit when I was 1 year old someone came running out of the room and it really scared me. Now I want nothing to do with anything therapy related. But I did pretty good at the nursing home. I barked a little when we first arrived but I saw it wasn't that bad.

I even made some new friends with this adorable little girl. Mom wishes she would have gotten a good picture of her face. She was just adorable with her little glasses on and stuff.

Day 3 at the Trial

Well, day 3 didn't go so well. But that is dad's fault. In my standard run he called me too soon and I dropped a bar to try to find him. After that we had fun though because dad already knew I didn't qualify so he tried some other things out and I went in the weaves on my second pole again.



Then we had my JWW course. Dad thought I would be nice and grumpy by this time and slow moving and well guess what, I wasn't! Dad was so shocked that I was running nice he lost his mind and forgot to run HALF THE COURSE! BOL. We got out of there in 24 seconds and dad didn't even realize what he did. The judge told him he forgot the weaves and dad was like WHAT?!?!?! Silly dad...it was a long weekend so we will forgive him this time.



Also...mom and dad were talking about how lucky we are to be able to watch Linda Mecklenburg run at our trials. For those of you that don't know Linda created the system for the way that a lot of people train in agility. She has many books out and a lot of people admire her. I actually compete against her dogs in the 20" height (I don't stand a chance) but we thought it would be fun to record one of her runs from Sunday and share with you guys. We especially thought our Border friends in CA would enjoy this so here is one of her runs.

Day 2 at the Trial

Day two started off well. I got another Q in my Standard run and 9 MACH points.



and this is my JWW run. I didn't Q but it was still a great run. I decided it would be more fun to enter the second weave pole instead of the first one. haha. Mom and dad are still very proud of me though.



Dianne (Maggie and Stella's mom) makes the BEST liver treats. She gave me some for doing such a good job on my run. Here I am with Stella and Maggie.



So far, I am 3 for 4 this weekend.

Wordless Weimaraner Wednesday

Day 1 at the Trial

I had an agility trial this weekend. This trial was MUCH better than my last one. Started out with a bang and got a QQ (double Qualified score, I need 20 of these to earn a MACH and 750 points).

This is my Standard run. Got a Q and 7 MACH points.

and here I am with my new toys that I got for getting a Q and my new QQ Ribbon. This was my 2nd QQ, only 18 more to go.

Happy Easter

Hoppy Easter to all my friends. We had our Easter photos taken by a local rescue group that was doing photos for donations. You know mom, always has to support the rescues when possible.
