Pet Expo Day 1

Mom and dad went Thursday night to try to get everything set up and ready to go for the Columbus Pet Expo on Friday. They got all of mom's rescue booth items out and organized.



Then they got the Southern Ohio Flying K9 booth ready to go. Thanks again so much to Carla at Dogs Rule! for sponsoring Bokeh and Matt's gang. The crowd LOVES the frisbees.





Friday Bokeh and I got to tag along. We both were in the Classic K-9 show. Bokeh actually got to open the shows doing his frisbee work and then I got to be part of the agility races. It sure was fun but Bokeh had an upper respiratory infection and was on antibiotics for that and just wasn't feeling like himself.

Friday night I entered the "Dress Up Your Dog" contest. We didn't get any pictures of the actual contest because dad had me in it and mom entered Bokeh as a surfer in it. Guess who won.... ME! Yipee! They were taking my photos and stuff. I won a $25 gift card to Petsmart and some dog water.

So much going on

Wow, sure have been busy. I am so very sorry I haven't been able to visit all my friends. I'm trying to do the best I can. Thank so much to those of you who continue to follow my blog and leave me comments. It sure makes my mom smile when we see our friends comments.

So...last weekend was super duper busy. We had the Columbus Pet Expo. I can't wait to tell you all about that. Then this week, mom's mom has been here. I heard mom say that her mom is actually going to be moving in with us. She has a dog named Hershey. He is a Cocker Spaniel, so I guess we will have a new brother soon.

Weimaraner Wednesday

Vet

So, I had to go see the VET Thursday. Mom said my rabies vaccine was expired and needed to get a new one. Mom asked the vet about me shaking my head all the time. He looked in my ears and said they are clean but I might have a mild allergy. He also checked my legs real good to make sure I am doing okay since I do so much agility and stuff. He said I'm going to live and look good. Told mom and dad to keep me skinny and keep giving me my daily vitamin.

Bokeh had to go to the VET to. But he had to go because he has been coughing. Poor Bokeh got an upper respiratory infection. the vet gave him some pills and mom started him on them ASAP. The vet said that Bokeh would be fine to perform in the pet expo since he has been on his pills a few days. He is already not coughing nearly as much. So the vet said he will live to. haha



Oh yea we get to see Ernie and Frankie today! WHOO HOO

Friday night run throughs

Our training club has run throughs every Friday night. That is usually our hang out for Friday nights.

Here is a video of Bokeh. He is coming along nice. Still doesn't know his weave poles full up and without a channel yet but he tried.



We are also trying to keep new people running Bokeh all the time. So this week Elissa from No Bad Dogs ran with him. She is a great behaviorist and has some beautiful Rotts and the mighty Scribbles.

Shopping

Last weekend it was so nice out. Mom and dad decided to take us to the Jeffersonville Outlet mall. They let dogs shop there to, how nice of them. Mom wanted to go so she could see if any of the stores would donate to her Weim and Cheese event coming up. No such luck, but we still had fun.

We had a great time shopping and love the fact that they allow pups to go shopping there, thank you Jeffersonville Outlet.

Tomorrow is the big day, the Columbus Pet Expo beings. Mom will be living there the next 3 days because her rescue has a booth set up there. We get to see Frankie and Ernie this weekend to. Yipee!

Weimaraner Wednesday

As most of you know mom volunteers for Louisville Weimaraner Rescue

Mom does the intakes for the rescue and got a call about a sweet boy named Gibson. Gibson's family had a new baby and decided they needed to find him a new home.



Mom's friend, Michele, is a volunteer for LWR and offered to foster him. Michele and Scarlet were at a trial so mom offered to pick Gibson up from his transport. He got to come to our place for a few hours until his foster mom was ready to pick him up. He was pretty scared because he had never been around other dogs before so mom made us stay inside while he was here. Gibson really liked my dad.

His coat needs a little work but I'm sure with some baths and good food he will be nice and shiny in no time at all.



Gibson is dreaming of his forever home.
