Bokeh's big weekend
So last weekend Bokeh went with our friend Matt to Chicago for a Mini Aussie event. He was introduced slowly to the dock and pool for dock diving. (Thanks Bill for going in with him)

He also did 3 conformation shows. He placed 1st in each one of them. We did find out that he was the ONLY puppy in his age group though so that is why he got 1st. But I guess the judges don't have to give you a placement if they feel you don't deserve it so he did earn his ribbons. We are learning a lot about conformation now.

Sister Hannah
This is a super sad post and mom has tears in her eyes as she is helping me blog about this.
My kitty sister Hannah became very ill this week. She was 11 years old and was meowing a whole bunch. We had an appointment with the vet on Friday but when mom came home from work on Thursday Hannah was so weak she couldn't lift her head or hardly meow anymore. Mom knew it was time so we all packed up and went with Hannah to see Dr. Knapp. Dr. Knapp was very kind to our family and allowed us all the time we needed to say goodbye to her. Mom and dad had tears in their eyes and silly Bokeh was just worried about who was going to pet him. We all said our goodbyes to sweet Hannah and she is know pain free at the Rainbow Bridge. We miss you Hannah!

Friday Flashback
Here is a flashback from when I graduated puppy class at my training club. Dad was so proud of me.
Also, an update for those who have been asking. My mom is feeling better. She still isn't 100% and is having a pain in her side, but her coughing has calmed down a lot.
Update on Samick....wish it was good news but my brother is starting to do worse. He can't hold his pee for very long at all. Is waking mom and dad up during the night now when they hear him get up they have to run to let him out or he will potty in the house. They don't get mad though because they know he can't help it. He is also loosing a lot of weight. We are all just trying to keep him comfortable and pain free.

Bokeh is 18 weeks old
So Bokeh was out of town on his 18 week day...so this is 18 weeks and 2 days. But you ge the point. Mom and dad have been laughing because it has been fun watching Bokeh grow. This week they said he isn't getting taller or longer...he is getting WIDER. His Aussie butt is growing, growing, growing...going to call him Cookie Monster. hehe

New invention
So...dad moved the recliner upstairs since mom wasn't feeling well. These are those theater seats and have "cup holders" in them....but mom thought she would turn one into our Kong holder. BOL
