Down by the River

So after we were done with our Frosty Paws the other night we decided to drive down by the river.

We actually learned something new. They had a sign posted asking people to not feed the birds. We used to always take bread to feed them but in reading the sign we found that was very bad for them. We never new this and will be sure to never do that again.

Looks like they are building something new. We are hoping this is a club house and not just one persons home. It is HUGE!

Did you say Ice Cream?

So Graeter's Ice Cream has a Dog's Night Out the first Wednesday of every month. With each human ice cream you get a FREE Frosty Paw. So off we went for a yummy treat.

I got mail!

PIP had a contest where you had to answer questions about Pip. I must say since I am new to Pip's blog it was not an easy quiz. But guess who one of the winners was? ME!

Pip sent me some pawsome mail. Here is a video of us opening our package.



and a photo of me with my pressies. Thank you again SO much Pip. We love our new shark and dad has been giving me the yummy treats in my agility class.

Bokeh's first big boy competition

So....Bokeh attended his first competition as a big boy. Dad left me at home, can you believe that? It was okay though, me and mom had a great day at the K-9 Carnival, I will tell you more about that later.

Anyway....back to Bokeh. They had a disc dog event in Tipp City last weekend. Dad drove down with Matt and his pups Bazooka and Bella.

They had 7 different events. This one was called Spot Landing. Bokeh didn't qualify in this one and decided to take a poop in the ring at the end. BOL



This one was called Time Trial. He didn't qualify in this one and ran over to his Uncle Matt during the trial. Silly boy.



This is called teams. Matt and Dad are out there with Matt's dog Bella. They take turns throwing her the disc and get points for each catch and extra if she catches in the air.

and the best for last. If you're only going to watch one of the videos, this is the one to watch. This is called Bullseye. Dad has to stand in the center and then throws the disc to Bokeh and he gets certain points for each section he lands in. Guess what...Bokeh got 5th place out of ALL the teams there that day even ones that have been doing this for years. Can you believe that? My little 8 month old brother might be pretty good after all (but you didn't hear me say that). Be sure to check out the air he is getting at the end of the video.



Very proud of Bokeh. He came home with his novice titles in Bullseye and Freestyle. Mom is SUPER sad that the Freestyle video didn't come out, but will catch him doing it next time.
