Helping the Kids

Last Saturday when we went to the Frisbee event, a guy was there that was asking people to donate their used discs to him because he was having a demonstration for some children who have the nasty C word. Mom and dad thought this was a very nice thing and they took a disc down from Bokeh and I. They had us pawtograph them and the guy took a photo of us with our disc so that each kid will not only get the frisbee from us but also a photo of us with the frisbee. They also wanted one fun fact about us, so I told them I had my own blog. :)

Wordless Wednesday

Bokeh got his first trophy!

Saturday we went out in the heat to Milford Ohio for the Southern Ohio Flyin K9 2011 Ohio Cup. It was HOT!

When it came down to it, Bokeh came in 2nd place for Novice Freestyle. He missed first place by only 2/10th of a point. Can you believe that? He was so close to first. But still very proud of him at only 9 months old.

Park

So we met up with some of our friends at the park to practice agility skills. Bokeh is still too young to be doing much so we keep everything short and simple. He only does like 2 jumps if that and then we are done jumping until his growth plates close.

Dad has also learned his lesson by not letting anyone run me when I was younger and now I will not let anyone else run agility with me except dad. Dad wants Bokeh to be comfortable in case someone else would have to run him in an emergency situation. This is Stacie working with Bokeh.

A new Park

We went to a new park in Dublin. It was a very nice park and we got to practice our disc dog stuff with Matt and his crew (Buddy, Bella and Bazooka).

Pup-A-Palooza

So a few weekends ago mom set up a booth for her rescue at Alum Creek Dog Park (be sure to check out the dogs on their website in the right hand corner, haha).



Everything was going good, lots of people were showing up



Dad took us swimming while mom stayed at the rescue booth







Mom's rescue was set up next to Mutts and Co. They had these cool little ice things for us dogs to lick on.



Bokeh went crazy over them and didn't want to leave their booth, but we told him he had to share with all the other doggies there.



Then the sky started to look like this and a big storm hit.



We got rained out and had to close up shop. BOO :(

Bokeh's 4th of July competition

So Bokeh was in his third competition this past July 4th. He did pretty good considering he is only 9 months old. He earned 3.5 points in his round and needed 6.5 to advance to the next round so he didn't make it. But...he didn't pay attention to the crowd or other dogs and stayed focus, we are very proud of him.
