Frisbee training

Sagira has now moved from just using Jer's leg to walk across to now kind of boost off of it to catch her frisbee. This video was at the end of her session so she was getting kind of tired, but she is making progress. It is neat to watch all the baby steps kind of come together.

Thank you to all for the kind works on Samick. We have picked up his medication and will be starting him on that.

Who knew?

Who know that Bounty paper towels made such a comfy sleeping area...

Photobucket

Mom would like to thank all of you for your kind works and thoughts about Samick. We are just taking one day at a time and see where we end up...

Also...do any of you have any tips on how to keep up with every one's blogs? I only have like 40 some people to follow, but it sure does take a lot of time to visit each blog and comment and we get behind, how do all of you do it that over 100 people?

Samick

Daddy called and spoke to Dr. K. about Samick. He said that even though the tumor doesn't appear to be the fast growing cancer that he thought it might be we still need to try to treat this. He is giving Samick a prescription for some icky pills to try to help with the mass. Samick has to go back in for another ultrasound in a few weeks. If nothing has changed Dr. K feels surgery is needed to remove it.

This makes mom super sad because surgery is going to be around $800. Mom and dad have been struggling to pay bills as it is and this is way out of their budget right now. It makes mom feel like she doesn't love Samick to be able to afford to do surgery. But it is the fact that Samick is 11 years old. She doesn't even know if surgery would be good for a man of his age. Daddy said to take it one day at a time and hopefully his icky pills will work and we will not have to worry about surgery.

Anyone out in blog land have any suggestions to help our family through some tough decisions?

Dog Park time!

A friend of mine now has a blog and needs some new furpals. Please stop over and visit Gunner an adorable 9 month old Weimaraner.

Gunner's Page

It is about time we hit up the dog park. All four of us got to go because it was on the way to Grandma and Grandpa's house at Lake Erie. We had so much fun, but it was super windy out.

Mom about freaked out when she saw me get in all the mud

Photobucket

But I am still cute even if I am a little dirty

Photobucket

Harley and I love to swim together. I always race him for the floaty toys.

Mom says you can't tell that Harley is 12 years old. He tries to keep up with me and I am only 2.

Photobucket

haha Harley, I got it this time!

Always making new friends

Photobucket

Shake! Shake! Shake!

Photobucket

Mom was getting mad at Starr. She kept eating the mud. Yucky!

Photobucket

You can see the mud on her face. My sister is silly.

Photobucket

and Samick kept drinking the dirty water. Mom told him that was a big no-no.

Photobucket

Splish...splash

Photobucket

Mom tells me that I am always picking up something new from my older siblings.

Photobucket

I try to be just like them

Photobucket

Mom thought Starr was going to fly away with her ears in the wind

We had a lot of fun at the dog park.

Easter

Wow...I'm running behind on all my photos. I just remember I never told you guys about my trip to Lake Erie for Easter to visit with Grandma and Grandpa. My mom's niece and her four little girls were there to. It was a lot of fun. I'm not really used to being around little kids, but they were not that bad.

Me, Starr and Samick on the way to the lake. Harley was behind mom's seat.

Photobucket

I got to meet the girls. Kelsi, Makaili, Makenzie and Makena (L to R) and me

Photobucket

The girls don't have a dog, so they were getting used to me to. But you can see we became friends from the beginning.

We are not allowed on the furniture at Grandma's house but she let Starr sleep in her chair (she loves us!)

Photobucket

Oh no! We're in jail, help us!

Photobucket

The girls got to go on an easter egg hunt. I was trying to help them out.

Photobucket

Hey! There is an egg over here!

Photobucket

Makenzie found the gold egg that had $5 bucks in it...maybe she will buy me a toy

Photobucket

Baby Kelsi found the silver egg

Photobucket

Samick was helping the girls open their eggs. He was hoping a treat would fall out for him.

Photobucket

What a great time at the lake. Bye bye Lake...see you soon

New Frisbees!

Boy did I get excited when I heard the doorbell ring. Some guy in a brown truck had a box and gave it to mommy. I was sniffing all over the box wondering what could be inside. Mom made me wait until daddy got home to open the box.

Photobucket

Okay mom, enough pics, can we open the box now?

Photobucket

Starr, what is in there? huh?

Photobucket

I don't know Sagira but it smells neat...

Photobucket

Oh boy! A new frisbee for me?

Photobucket

Not just one? A whole bag of them? Now that makes me smile!

Photobucket

Me and daddy practicing my bite

Photobucket

Come on daddy throw me the frisbee

Photobucket

Yes! Now this is what I love

Photobucket

Practicing some of the freestyle training moves

Also...update on my twin. Mommy said the lady from the rescue emailed her back and my twin is going to be available for adoption. Mom said that we are not ready for another doggy but hopes that maybe someone out there would want a Sagira of their own? You can email mommy for more information, she has the groups name, etc.

Lots to share

First off and most importantly...your thoughts, good vibes and prayers WORKED! Dr. K called today and left a message that Samick's test came back negative. His tumor is benign. Dr. K told us that this is really good news and we have some options available. My big brother is going to be okay. We are all SO happy.

Photobucket

My friend Maggie and her mommy Dianne got me a present for doing so good on my first AKC trial. They know I love squeaky toys so they got me a big stuffed bunny with a squeaker in it and a card. They are so nice. The card is really funny to. Has some penguins on the front and the inside says, You soar where others merely waddle. Congratulations. haha. They are funny!

I love my new bunny, I even fell asleep with it.

Photobucket

Harley tried to steal my bunny. But I told him he didn't do all the work I did and he better give me my bunny back!

Photobucket

Mom took this picture of me at the trial this weekend. I would go to sleep in my crate in between runs and then every now and again I would peak my head out to make sure mom and dad were still there with me. They tell me that I am so silly.

Photobucket

And here are my ribbons from my 2nd AKC trial. Two 1st place and One 2nd place.
